Captain Tazaryach (0:00)

And good afternoon.

Sara The Raging Tomato (0:01)

We are live out here in Vegas at Digital Social Hour. I am Sara The Raging Tomato, your moderator for the evening, or afternoon, I'm sorry.

Captain Tazaryach is here to take on 10 Christians. Captain T, if you want to give out your first prompt, please feel free, go ahead.

Captain Tazaryach (0:16)

Oh, I have no problem doing that. The first prompt is, the Bible is not a white man's book. It was stolen, translated and weaponized against the very people it was written for.

Sara The Raging Tomato (0:30)

Wonderful. All right, Celine, if you want to kick us off, go ahead.

Celine Rouben (0:33)

All right. So Captain, I told you I'll give you a little intro about who I am. I am a Hebrew, an Israelite, a Judean, an Israeli and a Jew.

My ancestors, they settled in Persia, modern day Iran, after the destruction of the first temple when the Babylonians destroyed our temple in Jerusalem and took us as captives as slaves. Now, throughout that displacement, throughout the diaspora, my ancestors continued to maintain their Jewish identities, continued to have their strong connection to their ancestral homeland of Israel through persecution, through discrimination, living as DME, as second-class citizens, through the ethnic cleansing, through all of it. They continued to observe the Torah, continued their religious practices, and continued observing their land-based traditions and holidays, with the goal of one day returning back to their homeland of Israel. My grandfather, my great-grandfather and so on always identified themselves as B'nai Israel, as the children of Israel.

Now, I just want to say something before we really get into it, which is that I'm not here to dispute your identity. I'm not here to tell you that there's no possibility that you don't descend from Israelite ancestry. In fact, I believe that you actually might. So, where I really struggle with is when your entire identity is based on disputing my identity and going as far as erasing my Jewish identity and my connection to my homeland of Israel.

Captain Tazaryach (2:13)

So, my identity is not about disputing your identity, first of all. And if I was to go based on this prompt, if you believe you're an Israelite, then you agree with my prompt.

Captain Tazaryach (2:25)

You don't disagree with my prompt.

Celine Rouben (2:27)

Well, that's why there was a little bit of turn back here.

Captain Tazaryach (2:30)

Strike number one against her. She agrees with my prompt because then you would have to agree that the image that they have of Jesus, that wouldn't be the real image, right?

Celine Rouben (2:41)

For sure. I mean, as-

Rashad Williams (2:42)

For sure.

Captain Tazaryach (2:43)

Strike two.

Celine Rouben (2:44)

Well, it depends what-

Rashad Williams (2:45)

So, you agree with me.

Celine Rouben (2:46)

Well, first of all, it depends on what exact image you have of Jesus.

Captain Tazaryach (2:50)

The image that we were giving, the image that my people was giving of Jesus Christ, of this blonde-haired, blue-eyed, white guy.

Captain Tazaryach (2:59)

Right.

Celine Rouben (2:59)

That's the Christian, you know.

Captain Tazaryach (3:01)

The prompt is the Bible is not a white man's book. So, you would agree that Christ would at least be in a Levant region or Middle Eastern. Absolutely.

Captain Tazaryach (3:09)

So, he would have melanin.

Celine Rouben (3:11)

Absolutely.

Captain Tazaryach (3:11)

So, then you agree with my prompt. The white man stole it from you too then. But we're talking about here. Well, you came up here to be on my side.

Vem Miller (3:20)

What she came up here to do is be on my side and say, Cap, can we be down together?

Celine Rouben (3:24)

Well, I want to get more into the whole identity of Israelite versus Jew or all of that.

Captain Tazaryach (3:31)

Okay. So now, I just want to highlight.

I was fine talk about how the white man stole it. You said that my identity is based on discrediting your identity, but I have not discredited your identity. But that's what you want to talk about. So you don't want to talk about the prompt. You don't want to talk about how the white man stole my records and from your belief, your records. You want to talk about what you think I'm doing to you.

Celine Rouben (3:57)

Well, do you follow the New Testament?

Captain Tazaryach (3:59)

Yes.

Celine Rouben (4:00)

Okay. So the New Testament was created by white Greek Christian authors. John was a Greek prophetic Christian religious author.

Captain Tazaryach (4:08)

You got to prove that.

Celine Rouben (4:10)

I mean, he was Greek. What do I need to prove?
