So I've got a question for you.
On Wednesday, California Attorney General Rob Bonta announced a $17 billion settlement with Meta over a lawsuit that was joined by many states, and alleged that Meta was tricking teens into getting addicted to their harmful websites. As part of the settlement, Meta has agreed to add some features for users under 18, including making the apps not work after certain times at night. Melissa, how much more productive would you be if your social media apps just would not work after dark?

So, there's so many, I feel so much about this. One, I love it because I have teenagers and they're addicted to their phones, and I don't know what to do. I hide them, I go in at night, and I mess around with my daughter's TikTok algorithm, so that it only recommends Jane Austen books to her.
But, I also have this problem, so I hate doom scrolling at night, I try to put the phone down at night, but I feel like so much of my time spent on apps isn't really even scrolling, it's kind of trying to figure out how to do things.
