Welcome back to another episode of SEEK Bytes. I'm Elliott Millar, one of your regular loud mouths here. And today I'm joined by two wonderful human beings whose names I'm going to absolutely butcher, but I'm gonna go for it. We've got Leon Belobrov.

That was such a good effort. The way I say it is Ioculari, so telling alphabet doesn't have a Y in it. So the I-O is like a yuh.
A friend of mine used to say, what do you do it when you've got like a rhyming thing to help you remember how to say it? Would be like, remember to lock the Ferrari. And I was like, yes, my Ferrari, Asha Ioculari.

All right. So I've been joined by these wonderful two human beings to talk about something that I think we're all pretty passionate about, which is Camp SEEK. So that's what we're gonna be chatting about today. So Asha, do you wanna give us a little intro about yourself? And then Leon can tell us about himself. It's great to have him back. And then we can talk about what Camp SEEK is.

So what do I do here? What is my day job? My job title is Senior Product Manager.
I've been working at SEEK for just over four years now. And my first Camp SEEK was, we were just talking about, was just a few months after I started. A great introduction to what SEEK is all about, I think.

**Leon Belobrov** (2:10)
Yeah, I've had the privilege of working with Asha on Camp SEEK for, it's gonna be our fifth year, which is really, really amazing. So I've been at SEEK, I hit seven years in March this year. So I hit my long service, which is really exciting.

**Elliott Millar** (2:22)
Ooh, long service.

**Leon Belobrov** (2:23)
But yeah, I've been at SEEK for seven years, also in products. I'm a principal product manager. And at the moment, I look after a product called SEEK Grad, which is our Grad marketplace, which is a separate platform, separate to SEEK, but good connection between SEEK Grad and Camp SEEK, because it's all about focusing on that youth segment and giving them the best opportunities to succeed in their future careers.

**Elliott Millar** (2:50)
That's awesome.

**Asha Ioculari** (2:51)
So nice that your day job now has, I think, something of a connection to what we do at Camp SEEK.

**Leon Belobrov** (2:56)
Yeah, I've been... It was when this role kind of came about, it was very much aligned to my passion of energizing, creating opportunities for the youth segment. It's an area that I've always been really passionate about, and now I can both get paid for it and volunteer for it.

**Elliott Millar** (3:16)
Mate, that's great. That is super exciting. I think that's living the dream right there is, and I think that our generation, I'm going to say, even though I know I'm old, kind of has that privilege.

**Asha Ioculari** (3:28)
What generation?

**Elliott Millar** (3:30)
I mean, I'm considered a millennial, so I was born in the 90s.

**Asha Ioculari** (3:34)
There are cooling decades between us.

**Leon Belobrov** (3:35)
You're born in the 90s, mate.

**Elliott Millar** (3:36)
I'm older than you. Yeah.
But it's like 85 to 2000 now or something. I think millennial goes to, or Gen X, but we're not Gen X anymore. Now we're just millennial, and I was like, okay, cool. I'll go with that, I guess. Anyway, I feel like that generation kind of almost has the privilege of being able to pick what we want to do that we're passionate about, as opposed to just, you need to get a job, you need to go into the grinder of the capitalist machine. So hearing someone who's found a role that aligns with their passion is just awesome. So I like that.

So I just want to go maybe a little off topic, but on topic, just want to touch on this Japanese concept called IHIGAI, and I hope I've pronounced it correctly. Now, IHIGAI is a concept that means a reason for being, and it's based on four key components that overlap.
