Well, could this case be getting any weirder, any darker, any more disturbing, any more like, um, what did you know and when did you know it? Or, young and dumb, even though all the signs are right there piling up on front of you. He's literally saying over and over, he wants to take out his wife. Doesn't want to go to hell. But if only he could do it, if only you could do it. Oh, wouldn't that be convenient? But it's all kind of just, just in jest. Just reaching up to the line and going over it a bit. Not full-fledged. Here's our plan.
As the crow flies over the moon at midnight, we sh- I mean, you just knew if he was gonna plan it out that way, you'd probably find a manifesto that is very theatrical. However, it was not planned out that way. It was always just kinda hinted at, passive aggressively. Oh, I'm just, I'm just, you know, a lot. And she's always right there, ready with the pickleball paddle to hit it right back over the fence.
Let's a few come through though. Let's a few come- I got the ball. I could kill her too. I mean, I don't really mean that at all, but I mean, you know, I'm trying to match your horrible energy over here because I'm really confused and young and dumb. And I think I love you, but I don't know the difference between love or, you know, lust or being taken advantage of and groomed by a preacher.
Alleigha Botner started crying on the witness stand in Miami County before she could finish reading her own text message. July 25, she typed, I want to kill her, Caleb.
She told the jury, sorry, I just wish I didn't say this. I bet you did. Flynn's response, according to her testimony, that makes two of us.
Alleigha Botner (2:40)
Sorry. I just wish I didn't say this.
Tony Brueski (2:50)
What was the message said?
Alleigha Botner (2:56)
I didn't mean it. It says, I want to kill her, Caleb.
Tony Brueski (3:02)
Who said that?
Alleigha Botner (3:03)
Me.
Tony Brueski (3:05)
Next message.
Alleigha Botner (3:07)
I said it's so bad.
Next message. He said that makes two of us.

Seven months before Ashley Flynn was shot twice in the head in her bed, the woman who'd spent a year receiving Caleb Flynn's texts was writing them back, was using his words, including the nickname they'd given her. You know, what all loving husbands give their wife? Douche. She was 23 years old and she'd been a worship leader at the same church as the Flynn's attended. You know, with this type of behavior, you're like, oh, we met at work. Where the do these people work? I guess it depends on how dark of a person you are or how, I guess, attuned to reality you are, maybe. Because I don't think the average person would think church. We met at church. You're doing this diabolical planning here and talking about this shit, and you met at church and you're worship leaders and you're basically pastors. Now, having done the show for a measure of time, if this were family feud and that question were asked, where do you think these two met? What profession do you think these two shared to which they met? What location would you guess? Everybody would be guessing all sorts of shit. The shared needle tent in Portland.
You know, I guess you would think maybe, you know, a seedy bar, someplace where not the best of society tend to hang. That would be my guess.
And people are going to pick seedy bar, you know, questionable tattoo parlor. You can name it Paul. There's all sorts of places where, you know, you're going to get a mix of folks.
But I don't think a lot of people are going to guess church. However, if it were the Family Feud survey says, Tony, this is for all the money, I would be saying church. And then the ghost of Ray Combs would be like, survey says, boom, church number one.
Because unfortunately, you know, a lot of it's just dressing.
Dressing on top of... A lot of folks who are at church, you know, and I'm not trying to knock church here, but you get a good mix of folks and that's fine. You do get a lot of broken people that are coming for help or redemption for finding a path. And that's great. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. You also get people that go there to pray on those people. And that's where you have Caleb Flynn. So I want to be clear. Anybody who's getting offended when we're talking about church or pastors and that sort of shit, you better wake the fuck up.
