What other areas in the garage did you examine?
SPEAKER_3 (0:16)
We looked inside of the trash can inside of the garage.
David Hammond (0:20)
I did a cursory examination of the workbench.
I did a cursory examination of the mechanical room. But those were areas that I asked the Tip City police detectives to look more thoroughly in.
SPEAKER_5 (0:38)
Were they in the home while you were doing the search?
SPEAKER_6 (0:40)
At times, yes.
SPEAKER_7 (0:45)
How would you describe the condition of the workbench area?
David Hammond (0:49)
It was, it looked like a workbench where people were working. There were a lot of tools scattered around.
It was disorganized.
SPEAKER_8 (1:02)
There was a volume of things there.
SPEAKER_5 (1:12)
You may. Thank you.
Sir, I'm not sure I can avoid it, but there is a MarFy notification purpose that states that it is 62-65.
SPEAKER_10 (1:26)
Would you take a look at those for me, please? Do you recognize us? Yes, sir.
SPEAKER_12 (1:45)
What do you recognize and what do you date?
David Hammond (1:47)
Those are photographs of the hallway leading from the garage into the home.
SPEAKER_7 (1:53)
You can do this fairly and actively to pick the scene as you observe Let's.
SPEAKER_10 (1:58)
Permission to publish, Your Honor?
SPEAKER_7 (2:00)
You may.
SPEAKER_12 (2:01)
Section exhibit 16, please.
David Hammond (2:04)
This is a photograph taken from the hall, looking back into the garage. The door into the garage from the hallway is open.
And on the left side of the picture, you're seeing just a little glimpse into the kitchen area.
SPEAKER_10 (2:22)
And it states exhibit 63
David Hammond (2:28)
This is a photograph of the door leading out to the garage.
SPEAKER_3 (2:31)
It's taken from the interior side.
David Hammond (2:34)
And it just shows the condition of the deadbolt lock and the handle locking mechanism.
SPEAKER_10 (2:38)
How would you describe the condition of those two locking mechanisms?
David Hammond (2:43)
I couldn't detect any signs of any forced entry on either lock.
SPEAKER_13 (2:47)
They were in good condition.
SPEAKER_11 (2:50)
Safety Grip at 64
David Hammond (2:56)
This is a photograph from the garage looking into that hallway.
SPEAKER_6 (3:00)
It's the same door.
David Hammond (3:02)
On the left-hand side, you're seeing a little glimpse inside of a laundry room. At the end of the hallway, you're getting a glimpse into the master bedroom.
SPEAKER_2 (3:12)
Safety Grip at 65
David Hammond (3:18)
This is a photograph just of the floor in front of that doorway into the hallway and it just shows the shoes that are piled up.
SPEAKER_5 (3:59)
In our opinion, what had been previously marked by the identification was the status of 66 to 83
SPEAKER_9 (4:06)
Do you recognize those?
SPEAKER_10 (4:45)
Your Honor, I just have a direct question with Mr. Molley, and there is no objection to publishing these poems.
David Hammond (4:51)
Okay. Permission granted.
SPEAKER_9 (5:08)
Where is the primary bedroom located in the hall?
David Hammond (5:12)
It's on the north side of the residence, and along the east wall.
SPEAKER_16 (5:18)
What rooms are attached to the primary bedroom?
David Hammond (5:21)
There's a walk-in closet, as well as a bathroom.
SPEAKER_7 (5:30)
What size bed was in the primary bedroom?
David Hammond (5:32)
It looked to be a king size.
SPEAKER_7 (5:34)
Where was it positioned?
SPEAKER_6 (5:36)
Along that east wall.
SPEAKER_10 (5:37)
How many nightstands were in the bedroom?
SPEAKER_14 (5:40)
Two.
SPEAKER_17 (5:41)
Where were they positioned?
SPEAKER_6 (5:43)
On the north side and the south side of the bed.
SPEAKER_10 (5:46)
How many dressers are in the primary bedroom?
SPEAKER_14 (5:49)
I believe two as well.
SPEAKER_18 (5:51)
One along the north wall and one along the west wall.
SPEAKER_10 (5:55)
Was there television in the room?
SPEAKER_6 (5:56)
Yes, sir.
SPEAKER_19 (5:57)
Where was it located?
SPEAKER_6 (5:58)
The west wall.
SPEAKER_10 (5:59)
Where did you observe a fan in the primary bedroom?
SPEAKER_18 (6:03)
Along the south wall, sir.
SPEAKER_7 (6:04)
Did you describe the fan blitz?
David Hammond (6:06)
It was like a typical box fan resting along the wall. It was very close to the wall and it was at, I think, the three setting or the highest setting.
SPEAKER_10 (6:22)
What do you see here in Stace Exhibit 66?
SPEAKER_6 (6:25)
This is an overall photograph of the bedroom.
David Hammond (6:28)
What's depicted is the bed along that east wall. There's a white door in the north wall that opens into the bathroom area.
