Today's gaming news stories include Sony canceled Physint over a Zoom call. Kojima's not sure whether the game's coming to PlayStation, and Bungie says more Destiny is coming. We'll have all this more because this is Kinda Funny Games Daily. What's up and welcome to Kinda Funny Games Daily for Monday, September 21st, 2026 Of course, I'm your host Tim Guettys. We're joined today by Blessing Adeoye Jr. Bless, how was your weekend?

Blessing Adeoye Jr. (0:31)

Weekend was good, Tim. Very chill, very nice. Watched a movie last night that I can never remember the name of. It's called The Devil Something Something, but it stars...

Tim Gettys (0:38)

Prada?

Blessing Adeoye Jr. (0:38)

No, it stars Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson and Bill Skarsgård.

Tim Gettys (0:44)

What a cast. What a cast.

Blessing Adeoye Jr. (0:46)

I don't know this. And there's a fourth person too, Sebastian Stan.

Tim Gettys (0:49)

What? You're making this up.

Blessing Adeoye Jr. (0:50)

I do. I learned that this movie existed yesterday because I was hanging out with my friends.

SPEAKER_3 (0:53)

The devil all the time.

Blessing Adeoye Jr. (0:55)

The devil all the time.

Tim Gettys (0:56)

Is it good?

Blessing Adeoye Jr. (0:57)

No.

SPEAKER_3 (0:57)

Oh, OK.

Tim Gettys (0:58)

OK. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Blessing Adeoye Jr. (0:59)

But my friend. So I was hanging out with my friend, Sara, my friend Meg, yesterday. And we were just talking about Robert Pattinson because we're very excited for this primetime movie coming up.

Tim Gettys (1:07)

You see those shots of the Batman that came out this weekend?

Blessing Adeoye Jr. (1:10)

Oh, no, I didn't see that. Yeah.

Tim Gettys (1:12)

Oh, man, his cape is just flying behind him, dude. It is. It's fire.

Blessing Adeoye Jr. (1:16)

I admittedly, I wasn't in love with the Batman.

Tim Gettys (1:19)

I wasn't either.

Blessing Adeoye Jr. (1:20)

I'm but I am in love with Robert Pattinson. I'm more in love now than I was then. So I am looking forward to Batman 2

Tim Gettys (1:27)

I haven't seen it since theaters and I full ten toes down loved Penguin.

Blessing Adeoye Jr. (1:33)

So Penguin was awesome.

Tim Gettys (1:34)

Yeah, I feel like I'll appreciate the Batman more. I feel like when it came out, it was the hype was so real. Reminds me of Force Awakens where every piece of marketing was pitch perfect going into it.

The expectations were through the roof. I think having the direct comparison to the Nolan trilogy, put it in a bad place for a first viewing for me. So I do feel if I watch it now, I probably enjoy it a lot more than I did then. Not that I didn't like it. I actually really, really liked it. I just didn't love it.

Blessing Adeoye Jr. (2:01)

Yeah.

I'm in the exact same place as you are. But yeah, we were talking about Pattinson and then my friend Sarah is like, I remember watching this movie with Pattinson and Holland and all this stuff. Me and her were having an argument actually. Because my argument, I think we were talking about Tom Holland versus, I want to say it was Pattinson. And I was like, oh, Pattinson acts circles around Tom Holland. And Sarah was like, I don't know.

She was very much in Tom Holland defense mode. And I'm like, I like Tom Holland. He's a great Spider-Man. I don't know if I'm in the train of, oh, he's a great actor overall. He's a great actor. He's not an amazing actor, I guess, in my opinion, my personal opinion. And she was like, you got to watch this movie. Then we watched it together and we were all like, ah, never mind.

Tim Gettys (2:45)

We were all like, never mind. Yeah, we were like, so funny.

Blessing Adeoye Jr. (2:48)

This movie was so mid. She thought it was way better than it was, but it was still a fun time. I recommend watching it just for a, just for like a different kind of movie.

Tim Gettys (2:56)

Was this one of those Russo directed joints where like during the pandemic, they just had money?

Blessing Adeoye Jr. (3:01)

We looked up the director and we hadn't heard of any of the director's movies.

I want to say it was a Netflix joint. So I think they were just looking to put something on in the catalog that would bring in subscribers. But like it was very clear that you couldn't afford these people for an entire movie because they don't show up until halfway through the movie. That's not even a spoiler, but like, yeah, it was tough. It was a tough.
