Bitcoin ripped to $67,000 as the market scrambled to price in Donald Trump's tweet last night that the Middle Eastern War is officially over.
But, big but here, will we be thrown yet another curveball before the official signing agreement on Friday? We will break it all down. But, as of now, it seems that yes, officially, well, I guess unofficial, official announcement. It seems that the Iran War is over. There is an agreement that happened yesterday. It's not official official until Friday. So, let's break this down. I will start with, of course, Donald Trump's true social posts. So, yesterday at 5:29 p.m., we got from Donald Trump. The deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete. Congratulations to all. I hereby fully authorize the toll-free opening of the Strait of Hormuz, and simultaneously herewith, authorize the immediate removal of the United States Naval Blockade. Ships of the world, start your engines. Now, obviously, it is interesting. Even this official post has a little bit of Bitcoin in it. Obviously, the quote, Toll-free opening of the Strait of Hormuz, which for all intents and purposes was going to be paid in Bitcoin. It seems like, you know, it's open. Though I will get into the details. There is a little bit of nuance to all of this. But first, let me cover all of the Trump tweets, starting with the one, of course, I just read. Now, second, an hour after that official post, we got this great deal will bring peace and security to the whole region. Many presidents have tried to make peace with Iran, all have failed before me. The leaders of the region have, for the first time, found a president who can help them achieve a real peace. With the opening of the Strait, upon the signing of the deal on Friday, for purposes of mine removal, oil will flow on both ends again for the region and the world. Now, this morning, we did also get one final tweet, unless he tweeted right when I started, which is also a possibility. Again, following intensive talks, peace deal side. Official signing ceremony will be on Friday, 19th of June. So, this Friday in Switzerland.
And that's where we start the story, that officially there is a deal in place. And when you look into this a little more, it seems like this time's for real, guys. All right, you know, for all we know, this time is real. I know I have been trolling a little bit. You know, we've had, I don't even know how many times of a deal being announced, but as of now, it does seem like there is a deal in place. And if you go a little further, it does seem as was posted here on CNBC this morning, that it has been officially digitally signed. So it seems to be in place, but the official signing ceremony will be Friday in Switzerland. So let's read what CNBC says this morning after they aired a clip of Vice President Vance. So Vance says a lot of Iran deal details to figure out, but US has all the cards. Again, JD Vance, the Vice President, said that the US and Iran struck a preliminary deal that there are, quote, a lot of details that remain to be ironed out. Vance told CNBC Squawk Box that Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghachi and Parliamentary Speaker Mohammed Baghar Galiboff are expected to be involved in the upcoming talks. The agreement reached Sunday would extend the US-Iran ceasefire for 60 days and set up a framework for future negotiations about Tehran's nuclear program and other key issues. So this is where it does get a little bit of nuance. Okay, guys, where it seems like there's a deal.
It's been digitally signed last night. We're gonna have a 60-day ceasefire until they iron out all of the details. From what I was able to parse this morning, there are ships going through the Strait of Hormuz. And though it doesn't seem like the US blockade will be shut off or rather removed until Friday when it's officially signed, but for all intents and purposes, all the markets are pricing in that the Iran war is finally over. If you are looking at the stock market, you know whether that's Dow Jones is literally at an all-time high. The equities markets just gapped up this morning. Dow Jones, all-time high, gapped up. We have QQQ gap up. We have, of course, SP500 gap up. We have gold pumping, silver's going up. Bitcoin, of course, going up. We are seeing that oil prices are down. US crude oil price is around $80 right now. And of course, on top of that, we are seeing that the bond interest yields are also down. So again, all the markets are pricing that this time is for real. That finally all of the macro headwinds are behind us, and we all really are just kind of waiting until Friday. Until it's official, official on Friday, for all we know, anything can happen. It's gonna be a long week, all right? I'm gonna tell you this upfront. It does seem as if it's official. It's been digitally signed, but this week, who knows? I think this is where everyone's a little bit of a skepticism is coming in. We're like, look, we've heard this before. We've heard a deal was in place, and then something happens and strikes start happening, and then it's out of control. Well, it did seem last Friday, I saw someone in the chat say, and I know it's someone that hangs out with us, or it might be one of the trolls, I forget.
