That's a totally different shape, not related to a box or a circle, but also could potentially have a box or a circle within it.

**SPEAKER_3** (1:08)

They excluded you from this story? Aw, well, let's see what we can come up with.

Okay.

**SPEAKER_2** (1:20)
Hello, my name is Box.

**SPEAKER_3** (1:23)
I'm Circle.

**SPEAKER_2** (1:26)
We should do something together.

**SPEAKER_3** (1:28)
I know.

**SPEAKER_4** (1:29)
Let's jump!

**Lisa Bueno** (1:32)
Says Circle, who is jumping into the air, Box does not look impressed. In fact, Box isn't interested at all, is he?

**SPEAKER_2** (1:44)
Little jumps, big jumps.

**Lisa Bueno** (1:49)
Circle is enjoying that quite a bit.

**SPEAKER_2** (1:52)
Up and down, all around. Jump, jump, jump, jump, jump.
Jump, jump, jump, but I can't jump.

Oh, that's hard, isn't it?

**SPEAKER_4** (2:12)
Poor Box, he looks so sad.

**Lisa Bueno** (2:17)
Every time I try, ow, he just falls smack on his face, doesn't he?

**SPEAKER_2** (2:27)
I know, let's. Sun tanning, snuggling, playing games, doing homework, nevermind, sitting is the best.

**Lisa Bueno** (2:50)
Circle is very confused about why sitting would be fun.
Thank you for coming. Wait, the end?

**SPEAKER_2** (3:32)
This can't be the end. I just need to sit and think of an idea.

**SPEAKER_3** (3:37)
That's it.

You sit and you jump. So now, we see Circle is jumping with Box sitting on Circle, and we found something we can do together.

**SPEAKER_2** (4:01)
Ow. Friends, it doesn't look so good.

**Lisa Bueno** (4:08)
Circle has jumped on top of Box, squishing Box, so that Box is now flat on the ground, face down, and does not look very comfortable. He says, ow.

**SPEAKER_2** (4:19)
Circle says, oops.

**SPEAKER_3** (4:21)
And I don't know what I'm good at. I guess.

**Lisa Bueno** (4:25)
That's a rough gig for them.

**SPEAKER_3** (4:28)
I guess. Circle knows how to jump.
Yeah. Jumping, jumping.

**Lisa Bueno** (4:40)
Well, that just goes to show you there are two different kinds of people in this world. There are people who are boxes, who like to sit, and there are people who are circles, who like to jump. Yeah, I guess there could be the third type. There could be people who just are a little bit of either or neither.

**SPEAKER_3** (5:04)
Well, what I do is I just think.

**Lisa Bueno** (5:08)
You think? I like to think too.

**SPEAKER_3** (5:11)
Think of video games. Think of food, think of homework, or nevermind.

**Lisa Bueno** (5:19)
Think of homework.
What we wanted to do, my friends, is share this story with you because we see in the art here how this illustrator has seen the world. And he actually talks to us about what it takes to become an illustrator animator and what it takes to become a storyteller, like what he has done. He says, hi, I'm Erin. When I was a kid, I loved two things, drawing and movies. So when I discovered animation, I was thrilled to have found a career that combined these two passions.
When I saw Buzz and Woody for the first time in Toy Story, I realized I didn't want to just be any animator. I wanted to be a Pixar animator. Working at Pixar is a dream come true for me, but it didn't happen right away. Year after year for 13 years, I applied but didn't get it. Rather than give up, I continued to work hard and get better at my craft. In 2008, it finally happened. I was offered a job at Pixar. Since then, I have worked on films like Up! Toy Story 3 and Inside Out. Animation at Pixar happens on computers, but like I said, I always loved to draw it, especially enjoy quick, simple doodles. That's how Box and Circle appeared. I would sketch out their little adventures and enjoy reading them with my family.
