One by one.
An investigation underway after more than 10,000 bottles of bourbon stolen from a Philly warehouse in broad daylight worth about $500,000. Here's the COO talking about the theft.

It seems like an organized group of criminals deceived one of our warehouse locations by getting them to load up about 11,000 bottles of bourbon into their vehicles, that being a semi-trailer, and made off with a whole ton of bourbon.

**Ethan** (0:59)
So not only did they steal it, they actually convinced the warehouse to load it up for them.

**Nigel** (1:03)
I was going to say that there were forklifts and pallets involved and pallet jacks. And wow, that is certainly...

**Ethan** (1:12)
That is a ballsy operation. But what are you going to do with that amount of bourbon?

**Nigel** (1:17)
So $500,000 worth of booze, 10,000 bottles stolen. I mean, they're just going to sell it for like, you know...

You're going to sell it on the street? Maybe these are bar owners.

Yeah, of course you're going to sell it on the street.

I mean, I don't know that you'll get anywhere close to 500,000. Of course.

Have you ever sold 10,000 bottles worth of bourbon before, Nigel?

**Nigel** (1:39)
I just don't know what else they do with it.

**Ethan** (1:41)
OK.

I mean, I'm assuming they're going to sell it on the street or sell it to some shady bar owners.

**Ethan** (1:46)

An international team of scientists that you don't have anything to worry about. I, on the other hand, I'm not sure about this next study. It's now saying these are brand new recommendations, again, that Americans limit their alcohol consumption to no more than one drink per day. We know Alison's in trouble.
This new paper, this study, providing specific guidance on the max number of drinks based on health risks. Men who consume more than six and a half drinks per week and women who consume more than seven drinks per week have a greater than one in one thousand lifetime risk of dying for alcohol related diseases or injuries. Now, that risk increases, Ethan, to one in twenty five when you bump it up to fourteen drinks a week.

Hey, Doc said one glass a day. He didn't say how big the glass had to be.

**Nigel** (2:48)
But I'm telling you, that's my point. They're going to come out with another study next week that says, oh, five glasses of wine a week are just fine and great for your cardiovascular system. Now, if you're drinking fourteen, that's major.
You're in some trouble there, I think. Fourteen drinks a week over a five day period.

**Ethan** (3:09)
You balance it out with the eggs. So you have a glass of wine and some fried eggs. And then you got the bad cholesterol and the good cholesterol, and it all balances out with each other. I'm not sure how health food works.

**Nigel** (3:22)
I'm not sure how that works. I'm not sure. But now you are a non-drinker.

**Ethan** (3:26)

You were used to have a pretty proclivity to ever clear.

**Ethan** (3:32)
Yes, back in the day. Yeah, terrible, terrible abuse. But fortunately, we're long past that.

**Nigel** (3:37)
You had some like you were open about it the last time. The neuropathy.

Alcoholic neuropathy is what they call that, Nig. Fun times.
