**Nick** (0:06)
Welcome to the bonus podcast. Good to have you company with you today.
**Luttsy** (0:12)
Good day mate, how are you? Yeah good.
**Nick** (0:14)
Good to tell you, good to see you.
**Luttsy** (0:16)
I'm going for a run now apparently.
**Nick** (0:18)
So for your first run in, how long you reckon?
**Luttsy** (0:21)
God, I can't remember. Certainly this year.
**Susie O'Neill** (0:24)
Because you've had a sore back, how's your back over there?
**Luttsy** (0:27)
I don't know, it wasn't really good yesterday, but today's really good now. Not really good, but better. So I'll see. I've got those soft ASICS shoes that Nick wears to, sorry, the other Nick, he wears them a lot to work.
**Nick** (0:38)
Yeah.
**Susie O'Neill** (0:40)
I was wearing them today.
**Nick** (0:41)
Are they Megablasts?
**Luttsy** (0:42)
I don't know what they are, but I've got a pair of them, so they're quite forgiving if you got a crook back.
**Nick** (0:49)
Yeah.
**Luttsy** (0:50)
So, I'll see where we go, because apparently it's Prefontaine Trail, which is like some sort of running track they have here named after the famous Steve Prefontaine runner.
**Susie O'Neill** (0:58)
Would it be on sort of gravelly, nice soft running? I would say so, yeah. I love that, like the Tan in Melbourne, you know?
**Nick** (1:04)
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Or like open gravel or like, what do you mean like gravelly though?
**Susie O'Neill** (1:08)
Oh, the Tan is like-
**Luttsy** (1:09)
Gravel paths.
**Susie O'Neill** (1:10)
It's not loose gravel, it's just a really nice running track. You know the Tan in Melbourne? No. It's a famous running track in Melbourne.
**Nick** (1:16)
Oh, is that past where they do, is that in the Albert Park and stuff?
**Susie O'Neill** (1:20)
In Melbourne? I don't know the name of the park. I don't know. Albert Park? No, no. It's close to near the Yarra.
Hmm.
**Nick** (1:28)
I think I know what you mean though.
**Susie O'Neill** (1:29)
It's a nice gravel. The university's got one.
**Nick** (1:31)
Yeah, yeah. Next to the river.
**Susie O'Neill** (1:33)
You know, it's kind of gravelly.
**Luttsy** (1:34)
It's dirt, but it's like beaten down.
**Nick** (1:37)
Is that better to run on than say, like a road?
**Susie O'Neill** (1:39)
Then bitumen, yeah.
**Nick** (1:40)
Oh, right.
**Susie O'Neill** (1:41)
Wouldn't be as hard on your joints.
**Luttsy** (1:42)
Yeah, that won't give, wouldn't it?
**Nick** (1:44)
Oh, right. I thought that would be like so similar.
**Susie O'Neill** (1:46)
No, I think it's softer.
**Nick** (1:48)
There you go. I need to start running on some of that. To how far do you reckon you'll run?
**Luttsy** (1:53)
I don't know, to be honest. What is it? It's 4 p.m. here now, so, you know, I don't know. Maybe an hour's worth of activities and then find somewhere for dinner. Oh, nice.
**Nick** (2:04)
Do it all again, hey?
**Luttsy** (2:06)
Some of our friends arrived today. Gordo from Nike arrives.
**Nick** (2:09)
Nice.
**Luttsy** (2:10)
He's a nice guy. We call him Flash.
**Susie O'Neill** (2:13)
Flash Gordon. That's fun.
**Luttsy** (2:17)
And, yeah, so that should be it.
**Nick** (2:19)
When does the actual event start, like the World Junior Games that you're there for?
**Luttsy** (2:23)
Wednesday.
**Nick** (2:24)
Okay. Wednesday, America Day is our Thursday.
**Luttsy** (2:27)
Yeah, it's a Thursday. That's weird.
**Susie O'Neill** (2:30)
Okay.
**Luttsy** (2:31)
Five days and then we'll be back in LA. There's an event with the AOC on the Monday. Thorpe is over here, Susan, for the LA thing.
**Susie O'Neill** (2:39)
Oh, is he?
**Nick** (2:40)
Is he really?
**Susie O'Neill** (2:42)
He gets around, doesn't he? I'd had a meeting with him the other day on a meeting together and he was in China on a bullet train.
**Nick** (2:49)
China?
**Luttsy** (2:50)
What's he doing in China?
**Susie O'Neill** (2:51)
I don't know. I never asked him. I couldn't hear him. He tried to ask some questions but didn't have a good enough Wi-Fi.
China? Oh, really?
**Luttsy** (3:00)
He rang you?
**Susie O'Neill** (3:01)
Oh, it was that Olympic board thing I'm on.
**Luttsy** (3:03)
Oh, right.
**Susie O'Neill** (3:04)
And he was asking a question.
**Luttsy** (3:06)
He's not helping the bloody Chinese. Is he swimming?
**Nick** (3:09)
Imagine that. Better not be. Big money in that.
**Susie O'Neill** (3:13)
No.
**Luttsy** (3:13)
Maybe he could story if he was.
**Susie O'Neill** (3:15)
Actually, I would, wouldn't it? It's no way.
**Nick** (3:17)
Would you ever do that? Try to go, hey, Susie, we're going to offer you three million to coach.
**Luttsy** (3:23)
Where's the line? Susie O'Neill.
**Susie O'Neill** (3:25)
