The Nick, Luttsy & Susie O'Neill Podcast. Welcome to the Bonus Podcast.
Susie O'Neill (0:08)
Don't put that on air. No.
SPEAKER_1 (0:12)
We were live.
Susie O'Neill (0:14)
So what I did there was finish it.
SPEAKER_1 (0:17)
Busy weekend this weekend, Susie, you chilling out?
Susie O'Neill (0:20)
Pretty quiet, actually. Although Luttsy got me an invite to a fun thing.
SPEAKER_1 (0:24)
Is that a secret, that thing I'm going to? That fun thing that you organized for me and Cliff to go to? I don't know.
Susie O'Neill (0:29)
Swingers party. It did sound like a swingers party.
Pineapples. No, that's a...
I think I've not forgotten what it was now. I don't think it's a public event, but we can definitely mention that there's a rebranding of all those restaurants like Southside. It's a group of restaurants. Southside's a great restaurant. The actuals at Burley.
SPEAKER_1 (0:53)
They're all the same owner, are they?
Susie O'Neill (0:55)
Yeah. There's three awesome dudes, which I don't know.
It's David Flynn, the vicar of Burley. I call him, his name's Nick Woodwood, who's, weirdly enough, dad was my first ever general practitioner.
SPEAKER_1 (1:10)
His dad. He's seen some things no one should.
Susie O'Neill (1:13)
Dr Woodwood. He saw my penis when it was tiny. It was a week ago.
SPEAKER_1 (1:19)
It still looks.
Susie O'Neill (1:21)
People say you can't do dick jokes.
You can connect a dick joke to anything, Lockie, and you remember that. You went to Southside recently.
SPEAKER_1 (1:29)
I did go to Southside recently. We had a wine night.
Susie O'Neill (1:33)
My point is, they're doing a rebranding of their whole group. And I can't go because it's tomorrow night, because I'll be in Sydney. But Susan can go with Cliff.
And they would love to have you there. So I'm taking Luttsy's spot. And they're trying all the different foods from all the different new menus and blah, blah, blah. I love that area too, under the train line.
SPEAKER_1 (1:52)
So good, isn't it? Have you seen when they set it up under there and they make it like a rave, like a DJ set under there and stuff like that? They've done it before when they've had parties.
Susie O'Neill (1:59)
They're a DJ, but no one there because it was early. Because those dudes used to be DJs.
SPEAKER_1 (2:03)
Yeah.
Susie O'Neill (2:03)
Oh, do they? Yeah. That's cool. Nick Woodward, when he gets together with another guy, Ty, who had a long time in some of those other places. And at the James Street Festival, about 4 p.m., they DJ.
And it's become a thing the last couple of years. Everyone just gets around it. It's huge. Good set. Yeah.
SPEAKER_1 (2:18)
That's fun. It is a good spot.
Susie O'Neill (2:21)
And Nick Woodward, I call him the Vicar of Burley because one day he turned up to lunch and he was dressed like it was fashion, but he would look like a priest.
I think he had that little collar and stuff going on. Yeah, some guys just get away with wearing shit like that. Like, if I did it, people would go, you look like an idiot. Nick gets away with it, but not with me, because I now call him the Vicar of Burley. The Vicar. Yeah.
SPEAKER_1 (2:41)
The Vicar of Burley.
What have you guys got on? What are you doing, Nick? We've had such a big couple. We had that wedding last week, and I was interstate this week. We are doing nothing.
Susie O'Neill (2:50)
Nothing.
SPEAKER_1 (2:50)
Yeah, just chilling. I've been sick. I'm just trying to recover.
Susie O'Neill (2:54)
Yeah, you sound a bit sick still. Yeah. A bit nasally.
SPEAKER_1 (2:56)
Yeah. Still blocked up. It's been like five days. Yeah. You know what I think I got it? Yeah, I was on the cold and flus and stuff. A kid's playground in Byron Bay.
Susie O'Neill (3:06)
That'll do it. I thought you got it from sharing the room with those people.
SPEAKER_1 (3:09)
Well, he was also sick, but then my mates who were in Byron with last week, my mates who were in Byron with last week and their kid, our kids were on the playground together, went on the slide. They had the same thing we did.
So I'm like wondering where are these offcuts coming from?
Susie O'Neill (3:22)
Yeah.
SPEAKER_1 (3:23)
You know, anti-vaxxers in Byron. Those kids, you never know. What are you doing, Susie? Nothing. Yeah, cruising.
Susie O'Neill (3:31)
Except for that thing.
SPEAKER_1 (3:32)
Oh, sorry. Yeah, we did ask you that. And Luttsy's going to the Everest.
