Welcome to the bonus podcast. We do bonus things.
Uh, producer Lockie has rolled in. You've got something for us?

**SPEAKER_3** (0:14)
Yeah, we were talking last week about Reddit. Yes. And the content mine that Reddit can be.

**SPEAKER_2** (0:21)
You're a big Reddit guy.

**SPEAKER_3** (0:22)
Big is not the term I'd use.

**SPEAKER_2** (0:25)
What do you always, you always audit, you always like, Yeah, I'm mining it for content.

**SPEAKER_3** (0:29)
I'm mining it for content.

**Susie O'Neill** (0:30)
What is Reddit exactly?

**SPEAKER_3** (0:31)
It's basically a website where there's a bunch of online forums. It's an app too. It's like a social media site. Do you pay for it sometimes? Nope, totally free.
And so there's like different communities that you can be a part of. So there's a Brisbane community that I often check to see if there's anything fun. Bunch of different communities.

**SPEAKER_2** (0:47)
People can be pretty savage on Reddit, like anywhere on the internet, I suppose.

**SPEAKER_1** (0:50)
Do you talk directly to other people?

**SPEAKER_3** (0:52)
You can, but that's not what people use it for. There's lots of burner accounts on Reddit too. So just imagine a bunch of online forums.

**SPEAKER_2** (0:58)
A lot of people are asking for advice on shit.

**SPEAKER_3** (1:00)
So much. I get those emails. Yeah, they call them subreddits. So there's a subreddit community, Am I the Asshole? So they're asking in this situation, Am I the Asshole? Lots of podcasts basically just read out, Am I the Asshole? And then they just kind of determine lots of content to be discovered on Reddit. One thing I saw today that I thought was interesting though, was, it was a would you rather, classic, would you rather never lose a video game ever again, or never lose a sporting match ever again?
Now I think I know the answer for all of you is probably going to be sporting match.

**SPEAKER_1** (1:39)
Never lose a video game?

**SPEAKER_3** (1:41)
Yeah, I guess if you're young and you play video games.

**SPEAKER_2** (1:44)
Yeah, for me, sporting.

**SPEAKER_3** (1:45)
But more interestingly, with that power then, what would you do with that? Because surely you're going pro at a sport?

**SPEAKER_1** (1:53)
I'd make a shit ton of money.

**SPEAKER_2** (1:55)
Even just never losing a mixed division two touch Monday night comp, you know, that's still, that's an honor and a privilege.

**SPEAKER_1** (2:01)
But in theory, you're never going to lose a game again.

**SPEAKER_3** (2:02)
So you can sell that.

**SPEAKER_1** (2:03)
That's currency. It's like, hey, guess what? I've got this talent where I never lose again. So maybe make me the 1500 meter runner at the Olympics.

**SPEAKER_3** (2:11)
Yeah, I see. Trying to convince someone though, that you have this power.

**SPEAKER_5** (2:15)
They just look at you. I can't test it.

**SPEAKER_1** (2:17)
OK, we've got Cam Myers. He's our best 1500 meter runner. I'm just about to beat him because I can't lose.

**SPEAKER_2** (2:23)
I don't know how to explain it.

**SPEAKER_1** (2:24)
It's just a thing.

**SPEAKER_3** (2:25)
How quickly are you making the Olympic team then? Are you just challenging? Because Cam's not going to agree to that race.

**SPEAKER_1** (2:31)
Well, he might because he might think it's BS. I mean, look at me. It's absurd.
God, you'd be a superstar, wouldn't you? You could just scull a beer on the line.

**SPEAKER_2** (2:40)
I can't lose. I'd go on really rogue sports with people. I'd go on like high jump and long jump. People look at me like this little guy's not going to do anything.

**SPEAKER_5** (2:48)
He can't pole vault six meters.

**SPEAKER_3** (2:51)
Watch me. Oh, here he goes.

**SPEAKER_1** (2:52)
As long as someone else does 5.99, I'll do six meters.

**SPEAKER_2** (2:56)
Yeah.

**SPEAKER_1** (2:56)
I'll win.

**SPEAKER_3** (2:57)
Well, you could do it because there's that pole vault of Mondo de Planters who keeps on breaking records, right?

**SPEAKER_1** (3:02)
So you break that world record.

**SPEAKER_2** (3:03)
Yeah.

**SPEAKER_3** (3:03)
And then you get even more. I reckon golf is the play.

**SPEAKER_2** (3:06)
Golf would be great. Being awesome at golf would be so good.

**SPEAKER_3** (3:09)
Because you could, I reckon you could absolutely make bank as a golfer well into, you know, as long as you live.

**SPEAKER_1** (3:15)
I have masters.

**SPEAKER_3** (3:16)
And then you could go, do you know what? As long as I'm playing something better than me theoretically, your handicap gets lowered real quickly. And then you could be coming.

**SPEAKER_1** (3:23)
Again, you can play the normal tour until you're 90 because you can't lose.

**SPEAKER_3** (3:29)
You can't walk, he hit a wheelchair, you can't even swing a club, but he's done it again.
