**Susie O'Neill** (0:14)
I'm about to be a total empty nester.
**Nick** (0:16)
Oh, yeah, so your son's leaving. With all the daughter.
**Susie O'Neill** (0:19)
Oh, yeah, Alex is gone for three months, and then she's moving to Sydney.
**Nick** (0:23)
Oh, so she's not... Yeah, because I saw her on Insta, she's overseas still, right?
**Susie O'Neill** (0:27)
Yeah, she's overseas for another three months.
**Nick** (0:29)
Oh, right, okay.
**Susie O'Neill** (0:30)
And my son's about to go overseas for two months. Oh, are they going to reunite? No, they're in separate spots.
**Nick** (0:37)
All right, so they won't hang out. They kind of would though, I can see them doing that. They seem to like each other that way.
**Susie O'Neill** (0:42)
Yeah, they do hang out together. But so just feeling a bit lonely.
**Luttsy** (0:47)
Yeah, you're feeling a bit lost. Soon it will just be you and Cliff.
**Susie O'Neill** (0:50)
Cliff and I, yeah, I mean, no, I'm not correcting your grammar.
**Nick** (0:54)
Mum moved in a retirement living when she got lonely.
**Luttsy** (0:57)
Yeah.
**Susie O'Neill** (0:59)
What did you say?
**Luttsy** (1:00)
You guys actually could move in to a retirement home. Those things are fine.
**Nick** (1:03)
No, she's not old enough yet.
**Scott** (1:04)
Do you need to be over 60?
**Nick** (1:06)
55, I think.
**Susie O'Neill** (1:07)
Did you get close? Is Burma 55? Isn't that bizarre? Some people are young.
**Scott** (1:10)
You are not old enough for that. But that's not really retirement 55
**Luttsy** (1:14)
That's more just like second life living, really.
**Susie O'Neill** (1:16)
People have done that when they're single, and I would do that if I was single, I reckon, maybe. Actually, no, I wouldn't. But if you're social, it would be a good thing to do.
**Nick** (1:24)
God, you'd be top seed. Imagine you're rolling in a single, Susie O'Neill rocks in to Burma at the age of 55 There'd be a few old boys going to hang on a second.
**Luttsy** (1:34)
There'd be a few, yeah.
**Susie O'Neill** (1:35)
That would not be an aim of mine to settle down.
**Nick** (1:37)
She's got a slight fetish for older men.
**Scott** (1:38)
Yeah, sometimes.
**Susie O'Neill** (1:41)
I'm having coffee with an 80-year-old tomorrow.
**Luttsy** (1:43)
80-year-old, 82-year-old Graham would see you coming, and he would wear his good cologne.
**Nick** (1:47)
He would never see his naked.
**Luttsy** (1:48)
His nice undies.
**Nick** (1:49)
I'd rather not.
**Luttsy** (1:51)
Do you reckon when they do it in there? Because those oldie homes, they, you know, it's pretty active from what I hear.
**Lothlam** (1:57)
Oh, no.
**Luttsy** (1:57)
But you know what I mean.
**Nick** (1:58)
This is just retirement living. This is, I mean, it's a thriving place.
**Luttsy** (2:02)
It's an ecosystem.
**Lothlam** (2:04)
Yeah.
**Luttsy** (2:04)
It's its own.
**Scott** (2:06)
What are you up there, buddy? What are you doing here?
**Luttsy** (2:07)
What are you pointing at?
**Lothlam** (2:09)
Use your words.
Sorry, it's producer Lothlam here on the podcast. We had a caller come through behind the scenes as we were talking about Luttsy's birthday. And I believe Scott from Caboolture joins us right now. Hello, Scott.
**Scott** (2:24)
Hi, how are you going, mate?
**Nick** (2:25)
Good, thank you. What's your story?
**Scott** (2:28)
Hey, I turned 50 at the start of the year. And like, it's no different to like any other birthday. I don't reckon anyway. I got this phone call from a member of parliament, a member of like our local council sort of thing, a high up person wishing me a happy 50th birthday. And I'm like, oh, this is a bit of a thing, you know?
For 50th?
**Nick** (2:55)
I mean, it's not like you're 100
**Scott** (2:57)
Yeah, it's not like the Queen's or the King's have a letter or nothing. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I'm stoked with this. Anyway, she's like, how's your day?
And talking away. And yeah, yeah, all good, good. Is it like you're happy with everything? You're electorate? And I said, yeah, yeah, it's all good. Is there anything that you sort of, you want to need or you want to? And I'm like, actually, yes, there is. And she said, what can I do for you? And I said, well, because it's my 50th, and I love Jack Daniels, how about buying me a 10-pack? And she goes, oh, oh, no, no, we can't do alcohol, you know, like that's something we just can't do. And I said, oh, no, I'm just fooling your leg, you know, just having a go. And she's, oh yeah, well, you just never know your luck. You got to try, you got to ask. And I said, oh yeah, all sweet, all sweet. Anyway, a couple of weeks, I wouldn't even be a couple of weeks late. I've gone out the mailbox and here's this parcel. And it's your 50th birthday present, your prostate test. And I'm like, oh God. And underneath it was an envelope. Anyway, I've opened the envelope, addressed to me, I've opened her up. Here's a $50 gift card.
