It's October 17th. Alright, we got a solid match up tonight in the NHL, with the New York Rangers and the Columbus Blue Jackets squaring off.

Puck drops at 7pm Eastern at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. You can catch it live on ESPN+, so get ready for some action. Now, the Blue Jackets are favored at minus 132 on the Moneyline, while the Rangers are sitting at plus 110 if you think they can pull off the upset. They're setting the over under at 6.5, which could make for an interesting night. Looking at the predictions, the recommendation is definitely on the Blue Jackets to win outright. The best odds right now are at FanDuel. With the recent performance of both teams, it's clear they need to turn things around, and this could be a turning point for Columbus. On the Rangers side, things aren't looking too bright, especially after that brutal 7-1 loss to New Jersey. They struggle to generate any offense, and it's tough to rely on a rookie goalie like Dylan Garand in that situation.

He faced a ton of shots and ended up getting pulled. That kind of experience is huge in the NHL, but the pressure is real. So yeah, tonight's going to be key for both teams. Columbus has the edge at home, and the Rangers really need to bounce back.

Let's see if they can turn things around, or if the Blue Jackets capitalize on their situation. Should be a game worth watching. That's the story for today, New York Rangers News Today, driven by AI. I'm Corey with the story.
