Introducing Sweating Sundays with Thor Neistrom and Derrick Brown. Two of the best deep dive football experts and betting sickos in the country get together for an entertaining and, ahem, hopefully, profitable look at football. That's it, though.

SPEAKER_2 (0:15)

You're expecting a rookie who's a tweener player who's now going to be a full-time linebacker to hit the over four and a half. That, that, it's not going to happen.

This is the Weekly Scramble, a place where we chat about life over a cold one or two. It's time to belly up to the pod with Mike Frattalone and your host, Chris Revers.

Chris Revers (0:50)

That's right, it's time for the Weekly Scramble podcast. My name is Chris Revers with me as always. His name is Mike Frattalone. Hello, Michael.

Mike Frattalone (0:56)

How are you doing, Revers?

Chris Revers (0:58)

I'm doing well. And now all of a sudden, you've got me kind of excited here.

Mike Frattalone (1:01)

Why's that?

Chris Revers (1:02)

Well, you know, I have two sons that play travel baseball, so their bedrooms are littered with things that are sitting right in front of you. And I'm thinking, you walked in, and we're doing the show at a different time and a different day today because unfortunately, I had to take the day off yesterday. And so when you walked in while I was recording with Mr. Money Talk, you set a trophy down here. And I'm thinking, you know what?

Is this my moment? Did I finally win a baseball trophy that I'm getting rewarded with? What is the trophy?

Mike Frattalone (1:31)

Well, you did not win a trophy, although I do think in life a goal for adult men is to win trophies, and I'm air quoting trophies, to win things. But someone did win this trophy, Tim Sinches, K-I-N-C-H-E-S, Sinches, was the Frat Pack 5000 Twins game winner.

Remember a long time ago, at the beginning of the season, you said the twins were going to have 85 wins, I said they were going to have 69, but Tim knew the answer, the answer was 77, he was the only person to guess it correctly. So not only does he get $100 Fratalone gift card, but if you're watching on YouTube, you get to see this huge, huge trophy.

Chris Revers (2:09)

Huge.

Mike Frattalone (2:10)

And I'm going to send that to Tim, and he's going to put it up in his house, and then he's going to grab his wife, and then he's going to make sweet love.

Chris Revers (2:17)

Jesus.

Mike Frattalone (2:18)

Cause that's what happens when you win trophies. Winners get to do that.

They just say, honey, I accomplished something.

Chris Revers (2:25)

It was an interesting twist.

Mike Frattalone (2:26)

And then she's going to take that gift card and go to Fratalone's to get something that she wants. I think that's how that works.

SPEAKER_1 (2:31)

It's not a bad trade.

Mike Frattalone (2:33)

No, congratulations. He's Frat Pack number 959 So he was in the Frat Pack 5000 early. He was one of the first few in, well, the first thousand in. Thank you, Tim. Congratulations.

I already DM'ed him, told him that he won, but I didn't tell him what he won. So if he's listening to the show right now, he'll be able to say $100 gift card and a trophy. That's the biggest deal is the trophy.

Chris Revers (2:53)

So let me ask you this then. How much late night, hot, steamy baseball playoff action have you been taking in these last couple of days?

Mike Frattalone (3:01)

I've watched zero of it. I did not know it was even on.

Chris Revers (3:04)

What's funny is last night, it's, I don't know, cause again, you know, everyone, everyone that listens to our show knows that I'm running from this thing to that thing.

And blah, blah, blah, blah. And all of a sudden my son, 14, about to be 15 on November 1st, right? Biggest baseball fan, biggest sports fan there is. He said, looked at me and he said, dad, it's 10 30 Why are you watching the Padres and the Brewers? I want to go to bed.

Mike Frattalone (3:31)

Yeah, let's go.

Chris Revers (3:32)

I said, well, it's, it's baseball, it's playoffs.

SPEAKER_3 (3:35)

It's, it's, it's fun, right?

Chris Revers (3:36)

He says, he says, dad, I love you. I'm going to bed.

Mike Frattalone (3:40)

I'm having this existential thing, and I didn't know if I talked about it on air, if I just talked about it with you, where I'm having this, not a crisis, but a thought of maybe baseball and sports in general are the manifestation of heaven on earth. And the reason I say that-
