Bitcoin is dumping, as we speak, hitting a, I wouldn't say new low, but the low of $58,000. I think it was 58.3, 58K gang is back, guys.
And of course, everyone is wondering now, how low will we go? Well, we have some conflicting data to explore today, and some huge entities are buying and also selling, but a $90 billion hedge fund manager said yesterday on CNBC, I think what everyone is probably thinking outside of Bitcoin. So let's watch this clip real quick. We'll chat about it, and then I'll go through all the data, explain where, or rather, what is going on right now and what we're seeing with the price action.

**SPEAKER_2** (0:47)
Coin anymore. It's a, I don't talk a little bit about Bitcoin.

**SPEAKER_3** (0:51)
Do you still wake up and say, why am I so stupid?

**SPEAKER_2** (0:53)
And wake up at 3 a.m. in the morning. Why didn't I buy more or? I always wake up at 3 a.m. And I always feel stupid about something. But now it's not Bitcoin anymore. It's not. I don't know what to think about Bitcoin anymore. The one thing I was wondering with Bitcoin is there was a time where there were very few IPOs.
Part of it is I think the public markets are a little bit broken with so many index funds and stuff. Everybody thinks the same. Thus, nobody really wants, you know, new IPOs.
I wonder if Bitcoin was a little bit sort of the off ramp for everybody that wants to have something a little bit more speculative. Yeah. Now that we have this big IPOs on one side, and then we have stable coin on the other. And stable coin involves the word stable.
So if you really want to just put your money offshore, put your money in a new system, you can go through stable coins. Frankly, stable coins more or less are already paying interest. I don't think they really are, but there's schemes where you get these rewards and stuff like that. So if you want just the stable coin, there's fabulous IPOs coming out. There's SpaceX, there's going to be some AI. And I just wonder, well, where is Bitcoin now? And the purpose of Bitcoin and a little bit, what you need to believe is almost this maximalist view about Bitcoin. Like when I speak to people about Bitcoin, it's a bit like a cult. You're either in or you're not. So that's just my new thoughts on Bitcoin. I'm a little bit more worried, and I would rather bet on is space going to quadruple over the next 20 years?

**Nico** (2:38)
Crazy, crazy, crazy.

**SPEAKER_1** (2:41)
All right.

**Nico** (2:42)
Ladies and gentlemen, this is exactly what you want to hear. This is capitulation in 4K.

**SPEAKER_1** (2:50)
Wait, wait, before you go, because Philip LaFont of CO2, I think it was like three months ago, four months ago.
He was like, that's where the beginning of the clip started. It's like he was saying, I'm staying up at night wondering why I've been such an idiot and haven't bought Bitcoin. So just to add to your point, we've gotten to the billionaire investors wondering about their Bitcoin thesis. So continue, continue.

**Nico** (3:12)
So this is what you guys have to understand about Bear Markets. The revolutionaries, they stay in. What he, you know, I don't know if it was I consider to compliment what he calls the Bitcoin maximalist.

**SPEAKER_1** (3:25)
A cult, cult is safe.

**Nico** (3:28)
The reason we stay in is because we fundamentally understand that the money is broken. We fundamentally understand that the only asset on planet Earth that is actually going to achieve what we dream of achieving, right? Which is an alternative system that can't be censored, that can't be debased, is Bitcoin. He's bringing up stable coins. Stable coins have done wonders for the developing world. There's no doubt in my mind in that. And you could say that they've taken a bit of the market share away from Bitcoin, right? The original thesis was that Bitcoin was going to play that role in developing countries. But if you're living paycheck to paycheck, that volatility that comes with Bitcoin, which is a feature, not a bug, that's how you get the crazy euphoric runs, might not be the best for you if you're living paycheck to paycheck in developing countries. So he does make some good points. He also brings up the points of, look, there's all these really exciting IPOs, whether it's the AI companies or whether it's SpaceX. And that is a good thing, because this is when all the tourists leave. This is when people get disillusioned. And one of the things that worried me about the 2022, they didn't worry me, but one of the things about the 2022 bear market and the 2018 bear market was that everybody knew that Bitcoin was going to come back with a vengeance. Like it was expected. And if you look at the performance of those two cycles, we had the famous double top, right, with the China mining ban that happened in 2021 And then we had this kind of like top on apathy that just happened at the end of 2025 in October.
