Today, I started the show with Things Are Getting Better. There are actual stats that are coming out that show the fundamentals are changing and it's really good. But so many people are not feeling it. So I started the show with, here's what's really going on. Then I explain it's like cancer and we're in chemo, and we talked to the audience about it. It's fascinating conversation. Also, Kirk and Cruelness and Rylie Barnes and Riley Beesley. They were two people that were on campus last week, and the university was about to expel them or investigate them for doxing.

No, no, no. All they did was post a picture of a really ghoulish girl holding a Kirk-a-versary cake that she brought to them. They asked, can we take your picture? And then the only thing was, what's wrong with women?

What's wrong with people on university campuses?

That caused all the trouble. Happy ending on that story. It's on today's podcast.

You know, there's a certain kind of confidence that only parents have. You walk into a bedroom, you take one look at your kid and go, yeah, he's getting sick. You don't need a thermometer, you don't need a doctor, you just know, right? Unfortunately, knowing they're about to get sick is the easy part. The hard part is discovering that half the town has the same bug. The pharmacy is out of the medication they need. And now you're driving all over town hoping somebody has it in stock. That's why I advise you prepare before the first cough starts. The kids case from Jace Medical provides physician prescribed emergency medications and antibiotics designed specifically for your children. And you can also include essentials like albuterol, epipens, zyrtec. So when a school germ makes their annual appearance, you're not scrambling to find out what your family needs, you already have it. And having it when you need it, when the time comes, you get a true piece of mind. Go to jace.com, use the promo code Beck and check out, get a discount on your order. It's promo code Beck at jase.com, jace.com.

I want to talk to you about the health of us as a culture. You know that two-thirds of Americans do not socialize at all during an average day. Let me say that again. Two-thirds of Americans do not socialize at all on an average day. Only 30 percent of Americans overall engaged in communicating on an average day in 2025, down from 38 percent. The average time spent socializing dropped from 41 minutes to 35 minutes per day in the same period, almost mirroring the amount of rise in times playing video games or using social media. They say most of this can be traced back to the impacts of COVID-19, especially with kids because they were in lockdown, and it did such damage to them. And now they don't know, they don't know how to socialize.

When you can't see people, you can't talk to people, this is why we're so apt to hate people that are saying something that we don't necessarily like, or not even listening to what they're fully saying, because they're not people anymore. They're just stats, they're just a person online. It's not a real person. You don't have to look people in the eye to do it.

And I don't think this is getting better, but it needs to, because we have no culture. You can't fight all of this politics stuff and expect to have a country if we don't have a good culture. Let me take you back last week. A flyer went up at NYU. It was a look-alike contest. Ten o'clock at night, in the park, five dollar prize, bring your own bottle. Georgetown had one too. South Carolina called theirs Kirk-aversary. They put up $50. Rochester had a cash prize and a trophy. Lincoln, Nebraska, somebody taped pictures of a dead man to bus stops with the words on them that I'm not going to read to you. And almost all of it was anonymous. You know, posted on apps, built so nobody has to sign anything. Every university said no student group was behind it. I believe them. Some of this may be just a dozen kids who found this cruel joke, plus a screen shot buys you a day of attention.
