And sometimes, somehow, it's gotten confused when reporters do their jobs. His job is to critique and analyze. He's like, okay, from his analysis, he hadn't played well.
Reporter, how would you assess your play this preseason? How would you assess it? Not well. You don't think so? I'm glad you don't think so.
He, Ocho, he hasn't played well. He hasn't. Yeah. He hasn't.

Yeah, but it's preseason. How much are we putting into preseason?

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. The small amount of plays you do get as a starting quarterback in the preseason where everything is really vanilla, there's nothing is scripted, there's nothing schemed. I would take that with a grain of salt in general. Now with the small stuff you have gotten, Unc and Joe, okay, it hasn't looked good. It hasn't looked good. Brian Deball, he has his work cut out for him. He has his work cut out for him. So obviously, whatever you need to do, you take what you've seen in the preseason, you implement it in practice, and hopefully come week one, in two weeks, we come out and we see a better Cam Ward. Cam Ward had some ups and downs last year.
Number one pick, he had some ups and downs. Towards the end of the season, hey, Uncle Joe, boy, he played well.
He played really well. So I'm hoping he can build on that going into the season this year, but when it comes to the preseason, eh, you know, you want to see improvement, you want to see improvement and consistency, but when it doesn't go well the way we think it should, when he gets, what, nine snaps, seven snaps and say, oh, without those seven, you didn't play well, I don't know. Maybe you understand where I'm coming from. Maybe not.

I didn't play as well as I would like to play. I know I need to play better in order for us to win. Boom.
If it's vanilla, it's vanilla for everybody. Yes, sir. He hadn't played well with his vanilla. So what's going to happen when it gets more complicated? When we start adding flavors, when we start swirling it up, then what are we going to do, Ocho?
