Ben Crump's rebuttal to a Mississippi Grand Jury and District Attorney Angel Myers McIlrath sounded like a minstrel comedy routine.

Crump delivered what he hoped is his closing argument in his Nolan Wells hoax yesterday.

The mumbling and bumbling race hustler stood before a handful of microphones and went full-blown Al Josen blackface. He defended and reiterated his hunt for truth, truth. A Jackson County Grand Jury looked at Nolan Wells and came back with no true bill. McIlrath put it on her record. The Crump team advised her office that they had no evidence of a crime against Nolan Wells. They never advised anything differently. He answered with a group chat. Take a listen.

The messages on his phone and the snaps will show some of his own friends were concerned about people on Horn Island can be racist.

That's his friends discussing that on snap. So, yeah, a lot of people were thinking about whether there was a racial component in this tragedy of Nolan Wells being unalived.

McIlrath answered the same afternoon. Notate, read it or put it on a graphic. She said, they chose to grandstand. She asked which snap he claims is tied to the death and what witness on that phone supports what he keeps claiming. The deletion his expert described, she said, came from other snapchat users, not a hand on Nolan's phone. Crump turned grieving parents into grieving grifters. He made them jokes. He convinced Nolan Wells' parents that there was a pot of gold at the end of an accidental drowning. The grand jury would not indict. McIlrath said his own team or her own team told her, no, his own team told her they had no evidence of a crime. Crump kept the microphone and he put those parents on the stage with him.
