All right. We got my son DJ. Say hello.

Hi. Of course you named him DJ.

Of course. My wife, she's actually been in radio a lot longer than I have. This is my wife, Jill.

**Jill** (0:45)
Hello.

**Jason Hammer** (0:47)
If we call you Mrs. Bass, is that OK?

**Jill** (0:49)
No.

**Nigel** (0:51)
Mrs. Bass.

**Jill** (0:53)
You just call me Jill.

**Jason Hammer** (0:54)
Jill, Lil Bass is here. L-I-L, apostrophe. OK.

Boy, he's got that kind of street cred.

**Nigel** (1:00)
Give everybody a little bit of background before we start arguments of your career, who you are and like some of the places you've worked.

**Dan Levy** (1:08)
I've worked on the Howard Stern channel, which probably most people know me from. In Chicago, I've worked all around there. I've done traffic. I do music now. I do a lot of commercials and on air voiceover stuff.
My wife has been on Chicago radio for almost longer than she wants to. But all the big sports stations, she's been doing traffic.

**Jason Hammer** (1:28)
You know, we got a 9 to noon opening here. I've been told.

**Dan Levy** (1:32)
She can definitely fill it. She is definitely a part of the elk of she likes it. She enjoys the format of this radio.

**Jill** (1:38)
It's an understatement.

**Dan Levy** (1:40)
I've been putting DJ on my voiceovers of my commercials since he was born. So that is us. And I actually did traffic for the station for a little bit when that bear wanted to go on vacation. I was usually the one hanging out with you guys.

**Nigel** (1:52)
And then that's how we got to know you.

**Dan Levy** (1:54)
That's how you got me. And then I started this podcast called Bargaments when I was, they were making us come back to the radio station after COVID. And I was like, I was kind of bored, just kind of getting there early. I was like, what if I did this podcast? I've always had this idea for Bargaments where it's just people arguing with each other that you'd have at bars, barbecues or your buddies were always doing the, would you rather is the Mount Rushmore. So I was like, I'm going to start the podcast. And then I was like, the name is for sale. I'm going to buy it too.
And then I've been bringing you guys on with me.

**Jason Hammer** (2:23)
Bass texted me last week, hey, what are some things we can do? And because I'm a horrible person, I responded, well, you can't see the bears play yet.
So that's probably going to be about a year or two. Give it a little time.

**Dan Levy** (2:38)
Hilarious out here.
Very sad out there. I was talking to somebody, one guy was like in tears. He's like, I just can't believe they're going to blow it. And I'm like, it's not a nut deal.

**Jason Hammer** (2:48)
It's a shorter drive for many that live in the Chicagoland area.

**Dan Levy** (2:52)
It's the same drive.

**Jill** (2:53)
It's right over the border.

**Dan Levy** (2:55)
It would actually be a little bit closer for us to come to Indiana than it would to go to downtown.

**Nigel** (2:58)
See?

That's fine. That's fine. It still gets to be the Chicago bears, right?

**Dan Levy** (3:03)
It does.

**Jason Hammer** (3:04)
We're kind of giving everybody crap, but it's not like it's the Hammond bears. That's not happening.

**Dan Levy** (3:08)
No, but it is a lot of people that are like, maybe we should move to the Packers. If you're allegiance is to go to the Packers that fast, you would never be a bears fan.

**Jason Hammer** (3:21)
Let's light this candle. Let's get into some barguments here. What's our topic for today?

The topic today, because we did a three hour road trip. So the one we're going to set it off with is the best song to play on the car to start a road trip.

**Nigel** (3:34)
Oh, nice.

Nice. So you guys just loaded up in the old family truckster. Probably hit 65 on the way down at some point.
