You're listening to The Hammer and Nigel Show.
Nigel (0:09)
Here we go, come on, arguments, arguments.
Dan Levy (0:16)
My name is Nigel Jason Hammer is here live in the suburban Indie home and outdoor living show. Featuring the Fall Marketplace, Grand Park is where we're at in Westfield and Hammer. We've already got the the bourbon flowing here.
It's not the only feature here at the outdoor living show, the suburban Indie show, but it's one of the many features here, the bourbon tastings.
Nigel (0:42)
Yes. So we've got our friends at Moondrop's Distillery right next to us, who we've worked with in the past, and we would love to work with on a lot larger scale. Kelly, make that happen.
Kelly from Sales is here. Hi, Kelly. Moondrop's Distillery, in the past, they provided a bunch of stuff from Moonshine Mondays.
Dan Levy (0:59)
Yes.
Nigel (1:00)
This time, they brought some of their double oak bourbon as a little sample.
Dan Levy (1:04)
When do we get to try that?
Nigel (1:06)
How about right now?
Dan Levy (1:06)
Right now? Before Barguments?
Nigel (1:08)
Before Barguments. Okay, it's Friday. We're here. Moondrop's Distillery is next door. Kelly, you're in here with us. Cheers. Cheers, everybody. Cheers.
Golden Grape Estate. They brought a little wine, a little vino over to us earlier.
Dan Levy (1:29)
My wife would love that.
Nigel (1:30)
Black Shiraz. Did I say that right?
Dan Levy (1:33)
You did.
Nigel (1:34)
I feel so sophisticated. Bass, when was the last time you had either bourbon or black Shiraz?
Dan Levy (1:39)
Too long, but never a bad time to send me a bottle of each, gentlemen.
Nigel (1:45)
Before we get into our barguments, man, your Chicago Bears dropped a 50 burger last week.
Dan Levy (1:52)
I am very excited about that. 59 points on the Carolina Vanders. But defensive wise, I'm not happy with the Bears did. So I'm a little sketchy about the game against Minnesota this weekend.
Nigel (2:05)
Yeah, well, at least you didn't give up a touchdown drive in four plays, like certain teams in Indianapolis that I was going to say it could always be worse.
Dan Levy (2:12)
It could always be worse.
Nigel (2:15)
If somebody's hearing us for the very first time and they're like, what is Barguments? Tell us.
Dan Levy (2:21)
Barguments is an age-old tradition game where you've argued with your friends at a barbecue, barbershop, or any place where you and your buddies gather around and have your would-you-rathers, your goat, your Mount Rushmore type of arguments. No real answer to it.
I made a podcast out of it called Barguments, where you could download it anywhere you get your podcasts. There's some good YouTube videos and a really fun Facebook chat that we've created that is churning out Barguments by the hour. And I like to come on here every Friday and lob one up to you fellas, and it's even more fun when there's bourbon getting floating around there. Hell yeah.
Nigel (2:56)
Since we are here at the home show up in Westfield, what's the topic?
Dan Levy (3:03)
Because of that very own little piece of knowledge, we will launch to you the best movie or TV house. Ah.
Nigel (3:12)
Best house in a movie or TV show. Okay.
YouTube chat. You know what to do. Jump in the YouTube chat right now. Let us know your answers. Best house in a movie or TV show. Get us going, Dan.
Dan Levy (3:27)
All right. The one that I did, and it actually took me a little bit to try to figure out which one I would absolutely want to live in my house if I just all of a sudden woke up tomorrow and became a billionaire. And the one that I couldn't get past was the movie Richie Rich with Macaulay Culkin.
He had the movie theater, a bowling alley, and a McDonald's.
Nigel (3:58)
Get out of my way.
Allison (4:01)
Must be cool to have everything. So you guys want to play or what?
Dan Levy (4:05)
Hey, I got an idea.
Allison (4:07)
Want to try the kidda-pult? The kidda-pult.
Dan Levy (4:12)
I want it, dude.
Nigel (4:15)
Dude, how fun was the kidda-pult in the Richie Rich House?
Dan Levy (4:18)
And not just that, zero parent supervision. Come on, is that what we all wanted as kids? Right.
Nigel (4:26)
Yeah, the Richie Rich House was strong, had a basketball court, had a bowling alley, had its own McDonald's, and the kidda-pult of all things. That's pretty solid, man.
Dan Levy (4:37)
That's my pick for number one. That's a good one.
