**Dan Bass Levy** (0:30)
He's hanging out with us, smoking a cigar right there. 202 West Main Street, C&C Lounge in Greenwood, living the dream, who we got in the hotline.
**Hammer** (0:39)
Chicago radio legend, a man single handedly trying to save his Chicago Bears. It's Dan Bass Levy. How are you?
**Dan Bass Levy** (0:47)
Bass. Gentlemen, ladies and gentlemen, how are you?
**Hammer** (0:52)
Man, we're having a lot of fun here. We're on the road at C&C Lounge. The place is packed and listen, it's a tough job when everybody wants to hand you bourbon and drinks and cigars, but somebody's got to do it.
**Dan Bass Levy** (1:05)
And put a microphone in front of your face. That's amazing.
**Hammer** (1:10)
Tell us all about Barguments.
**Dan Bass Levy** (1:12)
Barguments is exactly what it sounds like. It's arguments, it's discussions, it's the would you rather, it's the Mount Rushmore, as you do with your friends at a barbecue, barbershop, anywhere where you kind of gather around and have those fine discussions. I made a podcast out of it, Barguments. You can download it anywhere that you get your podcasts. There's some YouTube videos and a really fun Facebook group page. And on Fridays, cigars or no cigars, I like to come out here and rattle you guys with a Barguments. So if you guys are down for one, I don't mind lobbing one to you.
Let's do it, let's do it. Come on. All right, gentlemen. Best cigar scene from a movie or a TV show. Yes.
**Hammer** (1:53)
Okay. So since we're here in the preeminent cigar bar here in Greenwood, CNC Lounge, best movie or TV scene featuring a cigar. Okay.
YouTube chat, feel free to jump in. We are streaming this bad boy, even though we're on the road.
**Dan Bass Levy** (2:11)
Oh, yeah.
**Hammer** (2:12)
Let's go over to WIBC's YouTube and jump in the mix. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, you guys can interact.
Bass, get us going.
**Dan Bass Levy** (2:22)
There are a lot of really good ones to go through the catalog of movies and television where somebody is smoking a cigar. For me, the one that hits me every year that I watch it, Christmas time, it's the National Christmas Vacation Movie, National Lampoon, where Cousin Eddie is getting rid of the waste of the RV while waving at Clark in his underwear with that big old stogie in his hand and his mouth. Just kind of waving good morning to him and definitely a legendary line.
**Nigel** (3:03)
There it is.
**Dan Bass Levy** (3:09)
You can tell the cigar is hanging out of his mouth. You didn't have to watch it, he smoked. The cigar is so prominent, you barely notice what's in his hand. You're like, look at the size of that cigar, that smile. That's the way I want to be every morning.
**Hammer** (3:23)
You could have also chose later in the film where Uncle Louis is standing by Clark's Tree with the Stogie.
**Dan Bass Levy** (3:30)
Yes, that's right.
**Hammer** (3:31)
Where's my Stogie?
**Nigel** (3:33)
You're not doing anything productive.
**Dan Bass Levy** (3:34)
Get my Stogie.
**Hammer** (3:36)
My man Dale's here from Technology Recyclers. Brought us a little something something, my man. Appreciate you brother.
**Allison** (3:42)
Nice.
**Hammer** (3:42)
techrecyclers.com. Miss Allison, the floor is yours.
**Allison** (3:48)
For my cigar scene, I decided to go sitcom route and what character doesn't love his cigars more than Kramer from Seinfeld.
And there's so many scenes I could choose from. I mean, he's burnt down a cabin with it. He lit it on fire. But my favorite is when he decided to make his own Cuban cigars.
**Nigel** (4:11)
They're real Cubans.
**Hammer** (4:13)
They're human beings from Cuba.
**SPEAKER_1** (4:16)
Cubans? What did you think I meant?
**Nigel** (4:19)
Cigars.
**SPEAKER_1** (4:22)
Jerry, Cuban cigars are illegal in this country.
**Allison** (4:25)
That's why I got these guys.
**Hammer** (4:27)
You're making your own cigars now? Yeah, yeah.
**Allison** (4:29)
I got investors all lined up.
**SPEAKER_1** (4:32)
I just picked up the Cubans at the bus station.
**Nigel** (4:35)
What's going on?
**Dan Bass Levy** (4:36)
They're not real Cubans.
**Hammer** (4:37)
They're Dominicans.
**Nigel** (4:39)
So?
**Hammer** (4:40)
So, Jerry, if my investors don't get Cubans, the whole deal's off.
**SPEAKER_1** (4:44)
What's the difference?
**Hammer** (4:45)
Jerry, once you've had real Cubans, there's just nothing else like it.
**Nigel** (4:50)
I'm so glad I didn't pick that one. That is great.
**Allison** (4:55)
I'm sorry you didn't, Nigel. But yeah, that's my pick.
**Dan Bass Levy** (4:58)
Yeah. I mean, the other one was when Kramer started the smoking club in his apartment and his face.
