Are you really okay?

SPEAKER_2 (0:04)

Are you okay?

Linda Pearl (0:05)

Everything's gonna be okay.

SPEAKER_2 (0:09)

Are you okay? Yeah, I'm fine.

SPEAKER_4 (0:12)

I'm pretty far from okay.

SPEAKER_5 (0:15)

Are you okay with this? On the Hammer and Nigel Show.

Oh, boy, I have a feeling I know where we're going with this one hammer. Stevie Wonder.

SPEAKER_1 (0:26)

First of all, he can see.

SPEAKER_5 (0:30)

That the rumor is that he could see.

SPEAKER_1 (0:32)

Lytle Richie, Shaq, they've backed it up. Stevie Wonder can see.

SPEAKER_5 (0:38)

His Grammy winning album Songs in the Key of Life, celebrating its 50th anniversary yesterday. Well, now when it came out, not only was it a double album, but there was also a bonus 7-inch EP with four tracks. Now, to celebrate the milestone, Stevie released another four tracks on a new EP.

SPEAKER_2 (1:01)

Oh, all right.

SPEAKER_5 (1:02)

So unreleased tracks from Stevie Wonder. Here's one of the songs that could have been part of that iconic album.

SPEAKER_1 (1:35)

Okay, I think I understand why he didn't make the original cut. You can turn that off.

SPEAKER_5 (1:40)

It would not have been a Grammy Award winning album if that song would have been on it.

SPEAKER_1 (1:44)

Right. So just overall on the same page here, Songs in the Key of Life is what the kids call a banger of an album.

SPEAKER_5 (1:52)

Mm hmm.

SPEAKER_1 (1:52)

So you had such hits as Sir Duke.

You had Isn't She Lovely? Just to name a few. I mean, this thing was one of the best albums of all time. And now it's almost like Stevie's getting to the finish line. He's on the back nine of his career, maybe his life. He's up there a little bit, and he's like, maybe I can milk some more money out of this bad boy, which I'm not mad at him for doing. But don't tell me this is good music, because if it were good music, you would have released it either on the original album or at any point in the last 50 years.

And I hate when people do this. Now, Stevie is still with us. He's still alive. But when Prince died, when Michael Jackson died, they all did the same thing. Right. When Kurt Cobain died, there was all this stuff locked in the vault. I got news for you. It's locked in the vault because it sucks. And they didn't want people to see it because it wasn't any good.

SPEAKER_5 (2:54)

Oh, wow. Yeah, I just snorted. A deer scored.

SPEAKER_1 (2:58)

Did you catch that, Allison?

SPEAKER_5 (3:02)

A deer scored a touchdown by running down the entire field during a youth football game in California. We have the play by play here.

SPEAKER_4 (3:14)

And that's a 40 Is that midfield? This year could go all the way.

SPEAKER_1 (3:19)

Running over players.

SPEAKER_2 (3:20)

A 15, a 10, touchdown deer!

SPEAKER_5 (3:25)

Are you OK with this?

SPEAKER_1 (3:27)

Yeah, it happens, man. I remember having travel baseball practices and we were at a field near Ben Davis and a family of deer just come running, hop the fence, you know, running across the outfield.

It happens now. Normally, when you're talking about football games in this country, it's a drunken shirtless fan or a rowdy dad coming to fight a referee.

SPEAKER_5 (3:52)

Yes.

SPEAKER_1 (3:52)

So that's why I'm happy that it was just deer running on the field here, which, by the way, I've also seen both of those things in my life growing up in Beech Grove.

Great moments in deer history. This is when a deer crashed through the window of a hair salon.

SPEAKER_5 (4:33)

That's how much chaos and calamity a deer can cause. By crashing through the window of a hair salon.

SPEAKER_1 (4:40)

Allison had just set down to get her permed curls. And here comes Bambi, boom, through the window, like Stone Cold Steve Austin creating a ruckus.

Great moments in deer history. This is when a deer did a similar thing, but it was at a nursing home.

SPEAKER_5 (4:59)

Oh, no.

SPEAKER_4 (5:00)

Oh, my God, don't, don't, don't.

SPEAKER_2 (5:05)

There is a deer in here. Oh, he's out, he's out, look out, he's out.

SPEAKER_1 (5:12)

I love the play by play, like nobody can figure it out.

SPEAKER_5 (5:15)

Hey, just in case you don't see the deer, there's a deer in here.

SPEAKER_1 (5:21)

Allison, have that clip one more time. Listen to the very beginning of this, because I feel like this is what Lindsay says when Nigel gets out of the shower every morning.
