Hammer (0:02)

Are you really okay with this?

SPEAKER_2 (0:04)

Are you okay? Everything's gonna be okay.

SPEAKER_3 (0:08)

Are you okay?

Nigel (0:09)

Yeah, I'm fine.

SPEAKER_2 (0:11)

I'm pretty far from okay.

Hammer (0:14)

Are you okay with this?

Nigel (0:16)

On The Hammer and Nigel Show.

Hammer, this dude's video went crazy on social media. He filmed himself picking up a DoorDash order at the scene of a crash involving his own DoorDash delivery driver.

SPEAKER_2 (0:36)

I DoorDash some food and my DoorDash-er told me he got in a car accident.

And he was like, I can come meet him and get the food from him. I think that's my food right there. I'm about to go get my food.

SPEAKER_3 (0:52)

What's going on, bro?

SPEAKER_2 (0:53)

You the DoorDash-er?

SPEAKER_3 (0:54)

Yeah.

SPEAKER_2 (0:55)

You all right? Yeah.

SPEAKER_3 (0:57)

Thank you, man.

SPEAKER_2 (0:58)

You good? Yeah, I'm right down the street. I'm like, let me come grab my food. I'm so sorry, bro. Got an accident bringing me my food.

Nigel (1:08)

Are you OK with this whole scenario? I am.

Hammer (1:11)

He checked on him. He made sure he was OK.

But he also paid for his food.

So he went and got it. I don't see what the problem is here. I don't know why people have such strong opinions of this. And it sounded like he was pretty close to his house. And the guy that went to go check on him asked him multiple times. You good, man? You OK? I feel like he would have helped him had he been in distress. But no, he checked on him. He got his food. I see no problem here. I think this is fine.

Nigel (1:42)

Ella Langley.

Hammer (1:44)

I'm OK with this.

Nigel (1:45)

Ella Fella.

Hammer (1:47)

I'm an Ella Fella.

Nigel (1:50)

Hit Instagram.

She found out that her song Choose In Texas has the record for longest running number one song in the United States. I mean, in the history of the US charts.

Hammer (2:03)

It just broke the record. I think of Mariah Carey's Christmas song.

Nigel (2:06)

23 weeks, I believe. Here's Ella.

SPEAKER_3 (2:09)

What? Thank you so much. Thank you for loving this song, for listening to it. I just don't even know what to say at this point. It's changing my life. It's changing lives of the writers of this song. It's changing lives of my family, and it is truly growing an atmosphere for something I'm going to be able to do the rest of my life. And I'm going to go out and celebrate tonight. And I'm really excited to experience a moment like this in my life. I don't know how to say it. Just thank you so much. And choosing tea. Wow. That's the one.

Nigel (2:42)

I'm choosing Texas second tail, and you can all go straight to hell.

SPEAKER_3 (2:49)

I don't think the way it goes.

Hammer (2:51)

I don't believe that's how it goes, but I'm OK with this. Yeah. Take a little pride. Enjoy it. These types of runs don't happen all that often. This is a historic run.

And look, she checks every box. She's humble. She's super hot. She's talented. That whole album she has is a banger. Like my wife listens to it top to bottom all the time.

Nigel (3:14)

Are you going to try to go to a concert?

Hammer (3:16)

Yeah, we were going to go see Ella down in Knoxville playing at Rocky Top.

Nigel (3:21)

Knoxville.

Hammer (3:22)

And then I looked at the price of tickets and said, well, when we win the lottery, we will go see Ella Langley play Knoxville. But I'm assuming hundreds of dollars, like 500 just to get in the sticks, like not even lower level, like just to get in the building like was ridiculous.

I know she's got a show in Columbus, Ohio coming up. Tickets are insane.

Nigel (3:48)

Wow.

Hammer (3:48)

But look, man, it's supply and demand. I'm not mad at her. She's the biggest thing that's going out there right now. She's a cool chick. She drinks whiskey on stage. I'm not mad at her. But I got the thinking, if it can't be Hammer and Nigel Records with either George Strait of Hormuz or That's Joe Hogsett, I can tell.

What if we put together our own country song?

Nigel (4:13)

OK.

Hammer (4:13)

We put together all the aspects of a successful country song. Tell me if you think this from Hammer and Nigel Records could eventually replace Chews in Texas.

Nigel (4:23)

I was only 14 the first time I got drunk.

Hammer (4:44)

Stick in my ear.
