Are you really okay with this?
SPEAKER_2 (0:03)
Are you okay? Everything's gonna be okay.
SPEAKER_3 (0:07)
Are you okay? Are you okay?
Nigel (0:09)
Yeah, I'm fine.
SPEAKER_3 (0:11)
I'm pretty f***ing far from okay.
Hammer (0:14)
Are you okay with this?
Nigel (0:15)
On The Hammer and Nigel Show.
Okay! All right, I'll repost this footage here in just a second, Hammer, but curious to see what you think of fashion CEO Stephen Kolb. I know you're familiar with his work. He's a fashion CEO.
Hammer (0:34)
Yes, I am very up to date on the world of fashion.
Nigel (0:38)
Fashion CEO resigned his post after physically holding down and tackling multiple PETA protesters at a fashion show in New York City. They were protesting the use of wool in fashion. Here is one witness.
SPEAKER_3 (0:59)
It went on for quite a while, and people were watching the show as usual. Stephen himself seemed to be trying to take in the show as well, while holding the protester down physically.
Nigel (1:12)
So I don't know if you can go to the X account right now. I just reposted this. Okay. You tell me if he should resign or not.
It was a female protester, grabbed her sign, like she had a protest sign, and then he kind of restrained her, put his hand over her mouth. Yeah. I don't know, man. I don't think you should resign.
Hammer (1:45)
I would have given him a raise, to be honest with you. These PETA people are the worst, these bums. South Park was so right about these people many, many years ago, when they had the awesome episode of the PETA folks trying to interfere with these school elections, and then did these people get involved and end up murdering the PETA people.
You're going to have to go back and watch it years ago, but these people don't care about animals. They care about themselves. They care about being a pain in the ass. And, you know, this old guy, I'm watching the video. The way you described it, it's like he picked him up and gave him a stone cold stunner and then held her down, almost choked her out. That's not how this went down. Like he kind of helped her to the ground and put his hand over her mouth. Like, I don't know. I would not have resigned. I would have doubled down on it. But whatever they want to do, I'm sure is fine.
But somebody needs to hire this guy. If you're the kind of guy that's like PETA protesters, I hate PETA protesters, and you go out there and tackle one, you're my kind of dude.
Nigel (2:57)
Any preference here as we move along this last one here?
Hammer (3:00)
Dealers choice.
Nigel (3:01)
Okay, recruiters are saying that young people are bringing a really bizarre item to their job interviews, and it's hurting their chances of getting a job. Here is a recruiter explaining what she is seeing.
SPEAKER_2 (3:17)
My Gen Z candidates are showing up to their interviews with ice coffee, ice latte in hand. And here's how I perceive that as a recruiter with 16 years of experience that deals with mostly 14, 500 super buttoned up corporations, it is perceived that when you show up with an ice coffee or an ice latte, that this interview is just like a stop on your list of errands for the day. It looks like you went to Target and you went to Starbucks, now you're stopping by your interview, then you're on to the next thing. Don't show up with ice coffee or the ice latte.
Nigel (3:52)
Are you okay with showing up with an iced latte at a job interview, especially if you're Gen Z, Hammer?
Hammer (4:01)
I'm okay if everybody else does it because it eliminates the competition. Like if you want to show up to the same interview that I'm going to, and you want to wear slippers and pajama pants, and you want to have your latte, go ahead because even if you've got more education, more work experience, I look more professional in the interview. Look, getting into the workforce, man, it's super competitive. So anything you can do to get an advantage on somebody, do it. If you see a moron walking in there wearing like a backwards baseball hat, or they're not wearing a suit or they're carrying a coffee, let them.
Absolutely let them do it. I mean, this is what happens in the real world. You don't think NFL head coaches, like if you see the other team's quarterback out there, not stretching in the pregame and just playing on his phone, you think he's ready to go?
