**Brian Alvey** (0:10)
Yeah, I'm fine. I'm pretty f***ing far from okay.
**Hammer** (0:20)
And this is how we're gonna do Are You Okay With This Today.
The lovely Miss Allison, who if you're watching on the YouTube stream, you will see her face on camera in the corner of your box there. She is going to be the one that hosts this round, and she's gonna run some questions by myself and Brian Alvey filling in for Big Nige. Let's go.
**Allison** (0:42)
I feel like you'd have strong opinions about this first one, Hammer.
Police in Wisconsin were called to a wedding reception where two people were injured with a gunshot wounds.
And the reason, because one of the groomsmen ate meatballs with his bare hands. Are you OK with this?
**Hammer** (0:59)
So there were gunshots fired at a wedding reception because one of the groomsmen went to the food line and was grabbing meatballs with his bare hands.
**Brian Alvey** (1:08)
OK, that's the clarification I needed.
**Allison** (1:10)
Class act.
**Brian Alvey** (1:11)
If he's eaten off his own plate, I don't care. But he was fishing them out of the line out of the buffet line.
**Hammer** (1:18)
Look, I don't condone the gunshots, but I understand the gunshots, right? I'm a man that's probably seen anywhere from 300 to 400 weddings in my life. Longtime wedding DJ. I've seen pretty much everything, but I've never seen somebody get shot for the meatballs.
I'm actually OK with this. Sooner or later, you've got to set the standard of decency. And I feel like the big family wedding where everybody's there, it's your families, it's your friends. That's the moment. That's the moment you draw the line in the sand and say, No more. We're not these people. This family is making a change. You get that spoon out and get meatballs in there like a freaking adult.
**Brian Alvey** (2:01)
No, no. If if if if if that's me and I catch you putting your booger hooks in the meatballs, I get 100 percent. That's how you get striked. You want to get striked because that's how you get striked.
**Hammer** (2:14)
Anybody ever make a meatball joke to you, Brian?
**Brian Alvey** (2:17)
Yeah, it's funny, you know. So I used to own an Italian restaurant on the south side of Indy called Augustino's, and we were rated number one meatball in Indy like several years in a row. And it's funny, when I first got told this, they were like, hey, you guys are Augustino's got the got the number one meatball in Indy. And I was like, are you talking about my food or are you talking about me? They call me a meatball.
**Hammer** (2:42)
Hey, you're the number one meatball in Indy.
**Brian Alvey** (2:45)
Great movie, by the way, Meatballs.
**Hammer** (2:47)
Yes. Yes.
**Brian Alvey** (2:48)
Yeah. So I was number one meatball in Indy.
**Hammer** (2:50)
So there, but we both agree that if somebody reaches into the meatball vat with their bare hands and Lord knows where those hands have been, that's grounds for either a striking or gunshots.
**Brian Alvey** (3:02)
I will drag you from that buffet table and mud stomp you right now. Don't stick your booger hooks in my meatballs.
**Allison** (3:09)
Booger hooks. A new study last year showed that a record 25 million young adults under the age of 35 are still living at home with their parents. Are you guys OK with this?
**Hammer** (3:22)
Oh, I'm OK with this because I believe it.
I'm not approving it, but I believe it. And I'm willing to bet half these people troll people on social media. It's always the folks that are living in their parents' basement, don't have a real profile picture, or they're the ones that take themself real serious, right? Like, if you want to find the biggest D bag in the room, find the guy whose Facebook or Twitter profile is them looking off into the distance away from the camera. Maybe they've got a pop collar. Maybe they've got sunglasses on.
**Brian Alvey** (3:57)
But that's Superman pose.
**Hammer** (3:59)
The Superman pose.
**Brian Alvey** (4:00)
Fist on hips.
**Hammer** (4:01)
That's usually going to be the biggest D bag, the biggest troll in the room. And those are the people that don't have a pot to you-know-what in, have never bought their own car, do not live on their own. They're sponging off mommy and daddy, but they want to have the hot takes for you.
**Brian Alvey** (4:16)
You know, the only thing I will have to say, are they avoiding property tax? Are we dividing up the property tax? Maybe they're all still living at home because nobody wants to buy a property that they're going to be taxed on to death, so they have to pay the government, the state of Indiana rent.
