The Caleb Flynn trial did not only put his messages under a microscope. Alleigha Botner had to read her own. One of the most damaging exchanges came from July 10, 2025, when she acknowledged writing that she wanted Ashley Flynn dead. Flynn answered, “that makes two of us.

The state called the, called her to bury him, Alleigha, and for two days she did, but the jury also heard her side of 107,000 text messages, and every woman watching is now arguing about the same thing. Is, is Alleigha Botner a 23 year old who got played by a married man?

Or was she pushing? We're going to be talking about some of the texts, some of the quotes from the text. I want to kill her herself. She coaches him on getting into Ashley's phone. She gives him a deadline, not necessarily for murder, but for something to happen.

This is about what she did and whether the woman the state is leaning on should have been sitting somewhere else. Let's get into another clip here. July 10th, she's texting him how badly she wants to throw out every rule. The prosecutor makes her read the next message out loud and then makes her say who wrote it. Let's take a listen.

Alleigha Botner (1:19)

I said on July 10th, 25, baby, I miss you so much already.

The words of someone who is going to go and commit a murder or the words of someone who is mimicking their narcissist lover that's been manipulating them and slowly trying to get them to get there, to say that over the course of many, many, many months. Jen?

Jennifer Coffindaffer (2:58)

I'm just sorry I got caught.

That's good, Jen.

Come on. If somehow he actually would have planned this better, like Banfield, wasn't it? Brennan Banfield, he actually at least thought things further out. In this case, reminds me a little bit of that. But I'm serious, if he gets away with this, just say. I mean, not with what's happened now. I'm just saying at the time. I swear, in St. Thomas right now, drinking a Mai Tai, happy that they pulled this off. I really believe that.

Robin Dreeke (3:46)

And we're seeing, just watching these two go back and forth like this on texting, it's literally, we're watching what self-radicalization looks like online. I mean, think about it. So if they had no in-person meetings, you got two people with the same thought of how they want to off someone, you see them feeding into each other like this until someone takes that action. That's self-radicalization. That's how it happens. You're wondering, that's it.

Robin Dreeke (4:10)

It's like one person just kind of offers a little breadcrumb, because you can't go in with the full buffet. You can't be like, and here's everything. But, oh, that's tasty. I like the appetite. Maybe we should order, let's get another app here. Oh, this is, why don't we have dinner? It's just kind of step by step by step until they end up going full on to murder.

Yeah, it's a fascinating lesson in human behavior watching this without a doubt.

In September, we're on September 2nd of 2025 in the Love Triangle. Ashley found their messages on his iPad because he's a genius and took pictures of them. This is her and Caleb on the same night she walked him through wiping WhatsApp and iCloud trying to figure out if Ashley still has the proof as the geniuses try to cover their tracks.

Tony Brueski (5:07)

Take a listen.

Alleigha Botner (5:08)

I said also I have a question.

Did Ash keep those screen shots of our messages? I said at what park? He did a frowning face and said no, she did not. I said I need to know if she kept them or are you not sure? He said Kyle Park. I said how do you know?
