All right, everyone, this, wait, never mind. I haven't got to do the beginning part. Already, already messing up. All right, on this episode of Something Major, we are gonna dive into round three, so let's get it rolling.

Sam (0:12)

Jack, John, Stevie and Sam, got close a few times, never won a slam, nothing major.

Stevie (0:18)

All right, everyone, welcome back to Something Major. I've got John, Sam, the Suits at SIFT, everyone is here. Before we get to Sam and his celebrity open, maybe rant for the night, I've got an issue with this event so far. There's far too many dogs, far, far too many dogs on the grounds in the players area.

I'm a big dog guy, but my goodness, is there too many dogs? There's too many dogs.

John (0:43)

Who do you want to go to for this first?

Stevie (0:45)

Well, Sam hates dogs, you love dogs. So like, I kind of know where we're going with this. I want to hear what John has to say. I want to hear what John has to say, because there's too many dogs. I'm fine with it. So you're okay with like the little dogs like nipping at your heels while you're trying to eat a sandwich up there?

John (0:57)

No dogs nipping at your heels. I'm just saying that because people say that.

Sam (0:59)

They're like pooping in the player area on the turf. You can never get poop off turf.

John (1:05)

You're making that stuff up. They're not doing that. Have you seen a dog poop in the player area?

Sam (1:11)

No, but I've heard.

John (1:13)

Okay, it's a dog nipping at your heels?

Stevie (1:16)

Yeah, dude, they've been barking at me. I was eating lunch yesterday and the bark dog's like running up, barking at me. I don't want that.

John (1:22)

Why was he barking at you?

Stevie (1:23)

I don't know which little designer dog from any of the women that it is. There's also like a 110 pound husky floating around. That seems like it's too big.

John (1:31)

But we can, I think the more the merrier.

Stevie (1:35)

So John wants more dogs. All right, Sam, take us to the celebrity list. Anybody?

Sam (1:42)

Celebrity list was a little better today. We had Maya Rudolph, your friend Andy Dalton, Greg Norman.

But then of course, we had Jalen Hawkins, JJ. Jansen, Kyle Hamilton, Sophia Laffer, Najee Harris. I feel like I've heard of a Najee Harris.

Stevie (2:00)

He's a running back. Kyle Hamilton's a football player. I think he's famous. So is Najee Harris. Matt Freeze.

Sam (2:08)

Matt. Zuri Hall.

Stevie (2:10)

Matt Freeze, yes.

Sam (2:11)

Tony D'Angelo, light list. They're busy on the weekends, you know?

Stevie (2:16)

Yeah, busy on the weekends. I think it'll pick up in the next couple of days, but let's hope so.

John (2:20)

Matt, who's Matt Freeze?

Sam (2:23)

I don't know.

John (2:23)

I'm thinking of David Freeze. Remember the World Series hero?

Stevie (2:28)

Yeah.

That's Cardinals, like a million years ago. That can't be him. David Freeze, right?

Sam (2:33)

David Freeze. But I don't know who these people are.

Stevie (2:34)

All right.

John (2:35)

Wait, was it David or Matt Freeze?

Sam (2:36)

It was Matt Freeze.

Stevie (2:38)

Maybe it's his cousin. I don't know.

Sam (2:40)

That's the whole point of the thing.

John (2:42)

Yeah.

Stevie (2:43)

All right. Well, let's start. We all were at the course today. We all witnessed it.

Sam, take us through Taylor Fritz's unfortunate ending in his match today. He loses in five sets, 3-6, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 to the good Cerundolo. Taylor had chances and just couldn't quite capitalize what happened, Sammy.

Sam (3:03)

So John and Patrick McEnroe were calling the match and I was courtside joining them. Oh, so Taylor Fritz wins the first two sets, 6-3, 6-4.

But as John, as you know, he wasn't playing great. He lost his serve. Cerundolo at that time was one for 10 on break points or something like that. And then Taylor was up a break in the third early, lost it and then the match, the whole thing got sticky. Cerundolo started playing better. Taylor started to get a little frustrated. But if Taylor would have held, and John you said this on air, when Taylor was up two sets 11-1-0, if Taylor would have held that game and gone up 2-0 in the third, I think he wins the match in straight sets. Right, John? You think?

John (3:43)

I totally agree because I think Cerundolo gave up the break the beginning of the third set with like a meek double fault, like halfway up the net and he's like tapping out.
