I'm John Isner. I, my room's very dark. Apologize about that. But anyways, round two, US Open. Most of those matches are complete. There's still a couple of matches still going on, namely Alexander Zverev playing right now against Konton Halis.

We might have a Zverev problem every episode. We might just film during every Zverev night.

Wait, I'm glad you brought this up. Okay. I just came from the desk. We had Coco Goff, which was great. But I happen to have, remember last year here, I was getting the celebrity lists of not celebrities, celebrities that are in attendance. Same problem this year. I got the list. There's like 50 people on it.
Anna Wintour, of course. Ariana DeBose, Ashlyn Harris, Becky Akinyoti, Bawen Yang, Karl Nassib. I feel like I know that one.

Christian Cowan. I mean, Matt Rogers, Nicky Campbell, Sophia Bush. There we go. Jeannie Bouchard makes the list. Like, what are we doing?
Ridiculous.

At least the first one on this Anna Wintour, I was doing a couple of sweet visits. We're coming down, we're going up the stairs, you know, like the back from the players' lounge.
Some nice lady opens the door. I'm like, oh, you can come through, like, you know, trying to be a gentleman. She's like, no, no, like, you know, kind of gave me like the no, no, no. And then I was like, okay, I'll walk through, I guess. And then out comes Anna Winter. I'm like, I guess I'm just going to get out of the way now. And her like, whole walk in front of her. No, no, I was about to. And I'm like, no, no, no. I just, I completely, I parted like the Red Sea and I got out of the way. I was like, that's a celebrity. You get out of the way.

Anyways, let's get this going, guys, shall we?

We just talked about Zverev, how he's on the court right now. I could have his very problem for a long time here at this tournament, but let's talk about his first round match, which was going on when we concluded the first episode of Something Major.
I went to bed. He was in the fourth set. Couldn't stay awake anymore. Impossible. He wins set four, seven, five, set five, six, four over Lorenzo Sonigo. This would have been a very, very historic upset had he lost in the first round as the number one seed. His draw is actually looking pretty good now. What do we think about Zverev's Stevie, that first round escape battle he had over Sonigo?

Yeah, I mean, glad he escaped for the sake of the tournament, for the sake of for all of it. But he was a couple of points from losing and was not planning on being tested that much in round one. Look, what's happening right now as we're recording, he's getting tested, he's at a set all in round two.
