I've already apologized to Charles, Maurice, Ock, because I don't know where this thing is going to go with me today. And so I want to apologize to you guys in the audience. This Aja Wilson, the Fever Aces game has triggered me in a way that I just couldn't predict. I don't fully understand. But I do understand that this game last night, the events that happened in the fourth quarter, it's all personal to me. I'm from Indianapolis.

I grew up a Pacer fan. Clearly I hopped on board with the Fever when Caitlin Clark joined the team in 2024 And if you've followed me in this show, I'm a fan above everything. That's what brought me into sports. Being a fan, going to Pacer games, when they played in the ABA, my dad taking me and my brother, I was five, six years old and I was a nut job Pacer fan. Love Darnell Hillman's Afro. And so my introduction in the sports was as a fan. And then I believe when I got into fourth grade, I started playing organized football. Obviously, we played it in the streets, we played it on the playgrounds. But I am above everything else, a fan and I'm so sick and tired of fans getting disrespected. And I'm so sick and tired of Indiana Fever fans getting framed as bigoted, getting framed as racist, getting framed as the problem with the WNBA. And when I say Indiana Fever fans, I'm talking about the people in Indianapolis, the people that actually go to the games, the people that actually buy the jerseys, talk about the fever in a real way. Invested in the fever in a real way, not just using the fever and Caitlin Clark to make money or to launch YouTube shows or careers. I'm talking about fans. That's who I am and that's who I'm trying to represent on this show and trying to be a voice for on this show. And so, what happened last night, it sounds crazy, but it legitimately sickened me. And I'm going to unpack for you in a real way, like how I experienced this game last night. The fever won, Caitlin Clark was amazing. The whole team was amazing. They played in a team way. And I would love to come on and just celebrate that. And I owe Maurice a chance and we'll probably do it tomorrow. I don't know if we'll get to it today because I got a lot I want to say, but I owe Maurice a chance to celebrate Caitlin Clark's great night, put his goat hat on and celebrate all that because he was dead right. Caitlin Clark had a huge game. And SCAP, I just want to tell everybody that's been following, SCAP was scheduled to be out of town this Wednesday and unavailable. So he's not ducking anybody, but SCAP, I had record a little video, a message to Maurice and we may get to it. But I have to talk about the significance of this game. And because it connects to just like everything that has been going on with me and the show. This last night connects to all of it. And so before I unpack all of that, or just I want to give you some ingredients so you can understand what I'm talking about, you know, because I hear that, oh, Whitlock, you're talking about the WNBA. And I get the criticism and people, Jason got rid of Steve Kim because of the WNBA. And people just don't understand. So I want to enter in this thing to the record. I meant to do it on Monday, ran out of time, meant to do it on Tuesday, ran out of time, but I'm going to do it now. Over the weekend, Steve Kim and I exchanged messages over the weekend and made it crystal clear to each other that we were going to figure out a way to work together again. And for me, that's sooner rather than later, but we will see how long it takes. But I just want to enter that into the record so that perhaps you can hear me clearly because that is part of my overall struggle. It's like, I'm doing a show, I've dedicated my life to, I'm a writer, I'm a communicator, I'm an experienced broadcaster, and clearly there's a disconnect between what I'm communicating and what people are able to understand. And it's breaking me. And I look at last night's game and I go, this is everything that I talk about. And this is why I talk about the WNBA, because everything that I complain about, how the matriarchy and feminism is destroying the America that I fell in love with, the America that was good to me as a kid, the America that planted Christian values in me and made me believe that I could accomplish anything through Christ in America. It's being destroyed by feminism and women like this.
