No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world. Welcome to Primary Technology, the show about the tech news that matters. Apple apparently leaked their own stuff, including AirPods with a camera and a demo video. You can get into that plus the Claude Watermarking, more details and some personal experiences. Disney is suing the FCC saying we're not gonna take it. Robin Williams' family had to reactivate his Instagram account to fight AI-generated video and more.
This episode is brought to you by Claude and you. Remember to support us directly. I'm one of your hosts, Stephen Robles, and join my friend Jason Aten. How's it going, Jason?

**Jason Aten** (0:35)
It's been a very disorienting week, Stephen, but I'm here. This is literally the only normal thing on my schedule this week. And we started however many minutes late anyway.

**Stephen Robles** (0:45)
Well, I'm glad this show could be the rock in your week. What the, I mean, can you tell our listeners what's been disorienting about this week?

**Jason Aten** (0:52)
Oh yeah, we moved our daughter to college. If you follow me on socials, you already knew that. But our oldest daughter moved into her dorm on Tuesday. They go, she had to go early because she's a soccer player.

**Stephen Robles** (1:03)
All right. Well, congratulations, first of all. And this is what you say, right? I mean, my condolences.

**Jason Aten** (1:09)
Congratulations, you've gotten that one out of the house. We've launched that little bird out of the nest and so far it seems like she can fly.

**Stephen Robles** (1:16)
You'll see. Remains to be seen.

**Jason Aten** (1:18)
It's just not falling out of the sky yet.

**Stephen Robles** (1:20)
Now, speaking of college, today's quote, no matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world. Any idea what movie that is from?

**Jason Aten** (1:27)
Well, I was thinking it was probably going to be a Robin Williams quote. That's right.

**Stephen Robles** (1:31)
You're on the right track.

**Jason Aten** (1:31)
It's definitely not Pat Adams.

**Stephen Robles** (1:33)
No, it's not.

**Jason Aten** (1:34)
It's definitely not Morgan Minning.

**Stephen Robles** (1:35)
Or Mrs. Doubtfire. It's not Mrs. Doubtfire.

**Jason Aten** (1:38)
Or Jumanji.

**Stephen Robles** (1:39)
It's not any of those.

**Jason Aten** (1:41)
Man, I've seen a lot of Robin Williams movies, but I think it's probably one of his early ones. I think it's Dead Poets Society.

**Stephen Robles** (1:47)
You nailed it. I actually just saw it recently, a couple months ago.

**Jason Aten** (1:51)
Like for the first time? For the first time, yeah. Okay.

**Stephen Robles** (1:53)
Yeah, I always, you know, the scenes. My captain, my captain. You see him standing on the desk, but I actually watched the movie a few months ago. And so we're gonna talk about Robin Williams later and AI generated stuff. I wanna do a couple of five-star review shout outs. HÅG fan and Cowboy fan. That's his entire username from the USA. He says, we rock, thank you for that. And JP, the WSG from the USA, he enjoys the show and also enjoys our interactions. Thanks, Jason, for being that other guy. There you go.

**Jason Aten** (2:20)
There you go.

**Stephen Robles** (2:20)
Named you and called you by your other guy, Soudan. Very cool.
We talked about weird chairs in the pre-show. And so the first link you'll see in the show notes is a weird chair, but I'm not gonna spoil it. And so if you wanna hear that, if you're a member, you can listen to the unedited feed. And if you're not, you can become a member, and you can watch the show for $2.50 a month or $25 a year, and you can hear what in the world this is. I just wanted to point that out. It's the HÅG Capisco, and we talk about that in the pre-show.

**Jason Aten** (2:49)
You'll only sit in it once because you'll never be able to get up. It's going to kill you.

**Stephen Robles** (2:53)
You will injure yourself no matter what when you sit in that chair.
Let's talk about some Apple News real quick, because a bunch of leaks happened. Mac OS 27, Beta 6, well, first, this is not a leak. This is the window buttons. A lot of Mac traditionalists are very happy about the stoplight redesign in the latest beta, Mac OS 27, Beta 6 They have a little more volume 3D-ness to them. They look more like what they used to, like aqua buttons, and people are very happy. You have strong feelings about the stoplight buttons, Jason?
