Adobe is bringing its Firefly AI assistant inside of Premiere, Photoshop and Illustrator. More on that coming up, but first a big announcement for people who like a clean and organized Google Calendar. The platform is expanding its event coloring options from 11 predefined hues all the way up to 200
Now, even the busiest among us won't have to double or triple up colors while planning their week or month. Here's how it works. There are now 24 default color options, but web users also have access to a full RGB color picker, so you can customize your calendars with whatever hue you prefer. However, mobile users just have the 24 colors and no RGB picking tool. This new feature will be on by default, but this can be customized by the user. It's rolling out right now, but it could take a couple of weeks to reach everyone. There are a lot of Google Calendar users out there. To that end, it's available to all Google Workspace customers, Workspace individual subscribers, and anyone with a personal Google account.
In gaming news, Rockstar Games' parent, Take Two, has been pledging for a while that it would kickstart the hype for Grand Theft Auto 6 this summer, ahead of the November 19th release date. The publisher will open pre-orders for the massively anticipated game on June 25th, and the game's cover art has also been revealed. It looks just like any other GTA cover really, with a series of stylized images showing several characters, weapons, vehicles, and animals that will populate the new version of Vice City. The pre-order announcement is a further indication that Rockstar is actually sticking to the November 19th release date following previous delays. The publisher announced those around 6 months out from the previously planned release dates, and we're within that window now. So, all indications point toward GTA 6 actually landing on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X slash S 5 months from now. Remember, you can find the latest Gadget news, reviews, price drops, and more right now at engadget.com.

Earlier this year, Adobe debuted Firefly AI Assistant, an AI agent that could work across its family of creative cloud apps to complete multi-step workflows on behalf of users. Now, the company is previewing an updated Firefly Creative AI Studio experience that expands the capabilities of that software, starting with an upgrade to AI Assistant's ability to carry context forward. A new elements feature allows users to save characters, locations and objects they've previously generated to reuse in future outputs. Adobe suggests this capability will allow AI Assistant to better maintain consistency across stories, campaigns and projects that evolve inside of Firefly. Speaking of projects, another new feature allows users to group together assets and generations together to make it easier to go back to work they've done in the past. Alongside those updates, Adobe is adding a new set of creative skills to expand what its AI Assistant can do. The agent can now help you with creating a brand identity and carry over any styling, logo, colors to every piece of content it generates for you. Other new skills include the capability to create a rough cut from a few different video clips and generate video from storyboards. Separately, Adobe is starting the process of integrating Firefly AI Assistant inside of its creative cloud apps, starting with Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and frame.io.
