It's the dumbest story, but it's unintentionally hilarious. Here we go.
For those not aware, Taylor Swift's new album and packaging and merchandise was shipped to people with packing material, as some of it always is, but the manufacturers and the shippers who also make other albums and things said, why should we make use our precious packing material when we have all this extra Aaron Lewis material lying around that cannot be pre-ordered or sold? Let's save money. Thus, we found out unreleased Aaron Lewis album uses Taylor Swift packing material. Yes, that is real. I am not making any of this up.
I don't know what's the appropriate sound effect to push for something like this.

If I if I if I did it, I would have taken credit for it by now. OK, I would have had my name all over to like the Riddler, like leaving my little logo and stuff so that way people knew it was me that doing it. That's right. I'm the genius that did it. Ha ha ha ha ha. You know.
Uh, so it all happened simply enough. We'll get to all the story beats of this. It was first posted live on TikTok and the sweet girl who just wanted her Taylor Swift Toy Story 5 soundtrack song with the pre-order merch, as innocent as can be. Imagine your shock when you find out, hey, wait a second, the shipping material cushioning has photo prints of Aaron Lewis on it from his upcoming album.
How does this even happen? And also from what everyone's saying too, this is on the paper, like on the cardboard cushioning, you know, the print work for that. So it's not like they just took a piece of paper, like printer paper shredded that and threw it in there as a joke. This is the real shipping material, meaning this is actual cardboard stuff they used for other things, like the vinyl and CD covers and stuff and the liner notes. And yeah, apparently the distribution totally stuffed Aaron Lewis pre-order material that wasn't being used and just used that as Taylor Swift's packaging. Like, or not even protection, packaging protection.
