**SPEAKER_1** (0:01)
Welcome to the Teaching Ministry of Jubilee Church International. Jubilee is devoted to making disciples, winning the lost to Christ, building strong families, and taking the gospel to the nations.
Open your Bibles and join us as the presence of the Holy Spirit helps us to grow a little deeper.

**SPEAKER_2** (0:28)
Praise God, we're gonna continue this morning.

**SPEAKER_3** (0:33)
We're still praying to strengthen our desire for the Lord.

**SPEAKER_6** (0:38)
Amen.

**SPEAKER_5** (0:39)
Always, never ceasing.

**SPEAKER_6** (0:42)
Amen.

**SPEAKER_3** (0:43)
But we're gonna start a new series along that same line this morning.

**SPEAKER_7** (0:48)
We're gonna talk about longing for his coming, desiring the return of our Lord.

**SPEAKER_6** (0:58)
Amen.

**SPEAKER_3** (1:00)
I mentioned several weeks ago in last month's series, the phrase, the Hebrew phrase, Tekun Olam.

**SPEAKER_9** (1:08)
Everybody say, Tekun Olam.

**SPEAKER_6** (1:12)
It means the healing of the world.

**SPEAKER_5** (1:15)
And many have used that phrase, even there's a certain president that used that phrase. Actually, there's been more than one president has used the phrase, Tekun Olam.

**SPEAKER_3** (1:29)
But they used it in the context of their political party being the one to bring healing to the world.

**SPEAKER_6** (1:37)
Well, how many of you know that ain't going to happen?

**SPEAKER_11** (1:39)
Amen?

**SPEAKER_5** (1:39)
The only one that can bring healing to the world is the government of God. And come on, the Messiah, the King, the true King.

**SPEAKER_11** (1:49)
Amen?

**SPEAKER_3** (1:50)
And in Jesus' day, this concept of Tekun Olam, of healing of the world, was when the King Messiah would usher in his kingdom.

**SPEAKER_5** (2:03)
Amen?

**SPEAKER_3** (2:04)
And he would bring peace, and he would bring healing, and restoration, and reconciliation, and all these things to all mankind.
And how do you know Jesus came and he did just that? Oh, he brought peace. If you have tasted that the Lord is good, you know what I'm talking about. There is no peace like the peace that you find in Jesus Christ.

**SPEAKER_12** (2:30)
Amen?

**SPEAKER_3** (2:32)
No healing of the soul like that that comes from Jesus Christ.

**SPEAKER_12** (2:37)
Amen?

**SPEAKER_3** (2:38)
But what was taught in what's happened through the ages and in western, what we call western Christianity, we have been taught this concept that what would provoke and usher in the return of Messiah is that wickedness would so prevail, depravity would be so great in the earth, that God just couldn't stomach it anymore, and he'd have to come back and just wipe everything out.
And that's been the predominant eschatology in terms of the kavanah, the motive and intent for Christ's return. But that's not what they believed in Jesus' day.

**SPEAKER_2** (3:25)
How many of you would like to know what Jesus believed?

**SPEAKER_13** (3:30)
Well, I'd like to know what...

**SPEAKER_14** (3:31)
If it's him I'm waiting on coming back, it's him I'd like to know what he thinks about it.

**SPEAKER_3** (3:39)
Because, again, I think we're entering into a season, a time in the history of the church, we've had all kinds of move of God, we've had all kinds of revelations and knowledges, but now what we need to do, we're in a place that God has got to destroy the idols of our opinion. Because there is no idolatry in the church like opinion.

**SPEAKER_4** (4:10)
We worship our opinions.

**SPEAKER_3** (4:14)
Our religious opinions, our moral opinions, our cultural opinions, our political opinions, all hell, my opinion.

**SPEAKER_8** (4:23)
That's where we're at.

**SPEAKER_2** (4:25)
And I'm telling you, you wanna, you...

**SPEAKER_3** (4:28)
Let me as a pastor come and tell you that biblically, your opinion doesn't line up with the word of God.

**SPEAKER_15** (4:34)
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, I'm leaving this church.

**SPEAKER_8** (4:40)
How dare you, pastor?

**SPEAKER_13** (4:43)
Don't you know I'm a pinyon theologian?

**SPEAKER_15** (4:52)
Yeah.

**SPEAKER_3** (4:53)
We got churches, we got churches full of people who are opinion theologians.

**SPEAKER_16** (5:03)
His opinion was this, what will provoke and stir the heart of God, the Father.

**SPEAKER_4** (5:11)
What will stir the heart of the Son that says, Father, I gotta go get my bride.

**SPEAKER_15** (5:17)
It's when the bride of Christ is longing so deeply for Him, that we want Him so much. We want Him so, we're like crying out Him. Not, oh God, oh help me, help me, help me.

**SPEAKER_6** (5:31)
Come deliver me, save me from this persecution and this oppression.

**SPEAKER_15** (5:34)
It's gonna be, oh Lord, come. I long for you. I long for your face.

**SPEAKER_17** (5:41)
Oh bridegroom, I love you so passionately, so deeply that I can't stand another minute away from you.
