It's Jim Cramer here. You're listening to the opening bell of CNBC Squawk on the Street. Don't miss a minute of the action.
David Faber (1:05)
Good Wednesday morning. Welcome to Squawk on the Street. I'm David Faber. He's Jim Cramer. We are here at Post 9 at the New York Stock Exchange. Carl has the morning off. Let's give you a look at futures as we get ready to start trading. One half hour from now. I don't know. What does that say?
You got anything for me there? What is that?
SPEAKER_6 (1:21)
It's the start of the show. You got to talk to me.
David Faber (1:23)
Well, just tell me what that looks like. Up open, up open. I'm going with up on the NASDAQ.
Jim Cramer (1:27)
The NASDAQ's up and the New York Stock Exchange is down, okay?
David Faber (1:29)
There you go. See that? That's why I rely on you for insights like that. Let's take a look at oil.
Jim Cramer (1:34)
We better be ready this time.
David Faber (1:35)
All right. Oil also moving higher this morning. Of course, that typically has had more of a negative impact on the broader market.
We'll see how that plays out a half hour from now. All right. Our roadmap this morning does begin with what else? SpaceX and that stellar run. The stock on pace for what may be more gains, at least at the open. Plus President Trump adding some confusion surrounding the fate of the Iran Peace Framework, saying the US will quote, go right back to dropping bombs if he doesn't like the deal. We're going to take you live to the G7. We'll certainly have the latest from there. We're also going to get you ready for Fed Chairman Kevin Warsh. Expectations for his first rate decision since taking over that role. He is having a press conference. Yeah, I know. I know he might. You know, not that much corporate news this morning, Jim. So I think a good place to start is SpaceX. Of course, we talked about it a lot. I know, but it is on track for another higher open. Would be, of course, its fourth trading day. As of yesterday, by the way, you're just pushing up the roof. What is it? I'm trying to get called on. You're trying to get called on? Hold on. I want to tell people. It's added about $880 billion since it went public. Remember, $1.75 trillion roughly was the initial market cap at $135.
So it's added more than a JP Morgan or an AMD or a Visa. It's larger than the economies of Ireland, Belgium, Sweden.
Jim Cramer (3:02)
Yeah, but what kind of revenues they have?
David Faber (3:04)
I know. And then Elon's wealth is now equivalent to the next five wealthiest individuals combined. So if you add up Larry Page, Jeff Bezos, Larry Ellison, you see them all there. Sergey, what do you get? You get a Musk.
What about the move though, Jim?
Jim Cramer (3:22)
Trying to foment some sort of Bolshevik revolution. I mean, what is the point of that?
David Faber (3:26)
I'll leave that to you. I'll leave that to you, comrade Lenin.
Jim Cramer (3:29)
We're going to change things right now. Really?
David Faber (3:32)
What are we going to do?
Jim Cramer (3:32)
We're never going to talk about SpaceX and where it's going to be in the open anymore. It never closes. I was watching the SpaceX between 2.47 and 4 o'clock and this thing got pushed up, maybe two bucks.
They pushed it.
It's going about a point an hour from say 11 until 6 A point an hour.
And then it runs into resistance. It sits when real people come in. But I've never seen anything like it. David, this thing trades as if it's 9.3 at 2.30.
