But no, seriously, I kind of want to start out today's conversation. Just, you know, I'll do a little bit of an intro, just talking about kind of the four, the big death of the dollar narratives. And I'm telling you this so you can say, that sounds good or can we also do this or whatever, right?

Just kind of lay out the four kind of death of the dollar narratives. And then we'll just kind of go through, look, let's break this down. I think the big problem is for most people that get these narratives is they just don't understand the plumbing of how the dollar works in terms of the reserve currency. You know, again, like Luke Roman was like, oh, US dollar swaps, the reason the Fed's doing that is to keep there from being just a run on treasuries. I'm like, no, you're a fucking idiot.
So, and I've actually got a couple of articles I'm writing that will come out after this interview. After we do this interview today, I've got one coming out tomorrow and one next Friday, which is kind of going through the US dollar dominance as well. So I'll have this interview to kind of back up those articles as well. But anyway, we'll just kind of go through it. We'll just we're just going to talk, have a conversation. But the kind of the goal is, is without getting too far into the weeds. Lay out the case. Look, it doesn't matter what you think about the dollar. It doesn't, you know, because like one of the big stories is, oh, the dollar is being debased. No, that's inflation.
And you haven't invested your dollars and you're losing purchasing power to inflation. That's going to happen to any asset you don't invest. But, you know, it's just kind of help people that listen to the show kind of just understand the basic dynamics of the dollar, kind of work through these narratives and just kind of break them down a little bit.

OK. And just just so you know, I'm actually working. I haven't written a report on the dollar itself for quite a while.

But I'm I'm working on one now that's going to be released early to mid-June. OK.
