Ronnie Karam (0:30)
Hi, how are you?
Good. I'm especially excited today because we have a gorgeous special guest here. Please welcome Ms. Keltie Knight.
Ben Mandelker (0:42)
Hello, Keltie.
Ronnie Karam (0:42)
Hello.
Keltie Knight (0:44)
It's so good to see you guys. Guys, I am so excited to be here. Thank you for making me crappy. I have had IBS today, so it's perfect. And then on top of that, why do we not have a picture of you guys on the same background? We never do a cast photo shoot.
Ben Mandelker (1:02)
On the same background?
Ronnie Karam (1:02)
What do you mean a picture on the same background?
Ben Mandelker (1:04)
Of the two of us?
Keltie Knight (1:05)
The thing just played, Ronnie's like in a hoodie, you guys are in two different back, it's two different photo shoots. Like we never did like group head shots. Never did.
Ronnie Karam (1:14)
We have not ever done that. And we've said for 15 years, we're gonna do that and we've not done it. We've taken pictures together, but you can't Photoshop and lift and do it the same way you do it for yourself, I guess.
Ben Mandelker (1:30)
We haven't done the proper like Watch What Crappens photo shoot, video shoot, any of that. I hate my head shot. My head shot is from like 2018
My friend took the photo. My friend is very lovely, but he's a straight man. And I think one thing I learned is I don't think straight men cannot take photos of men, the head shots of men. They don't know what to look for. It has to be a woman or a gay man. I'm sorry, they just don't know. So I've hated my photo for a solid like seven years, but I've been too lazy to organize new head shots. And we've never done it. And like I watch actually so many podcasts have like photo shoots where they like look professional and look good. And we have yet to do it. We really should do it Ronnie.
Ronnie Karam (2:12)
Yeah, well, we'll say that that's the charm.
Keltie Knight (2:17)
No photo shoots.
Ronnie Karam (2:18)
Your photo shoots are amazing. If we're ever going to do one, we'll ask you, my God.
Ben Mandelker (2:22)
You guys, you guys do amazing stuff.
Keltie Knight (2:25)
I mean, we are beautiful, but we're girlie pops. But also like you don't have one picture of you guys in the tux from the award show. They could just like, AI can like split you now guys. We can Photoshop both of you. Like if you're just with arms around each other, we can redo your arms like down, you know?
Ben Mandelker (2:41)
We have some here or there. Okay. We'll feed it into the machines and see what comes out.
Ronnie Karam (2:46)
We don't even have regular eye at this point. But we'll work on it.
Keltie Knight (2:50)
This is such a problem. I had Crystal Minkoff, former Beverly Hills, moderate my book talk last weekend.
They were like, can you give us a headshot? She literally like her headshot, and I love Crystal and she's gorgeous, was like her leaning on her kitchen cabinet, and then clearly had been through three filters. They were like, no, we need a high-res one. She's like, this is high-res. I was like, babe, if it's coming from Facetune, it's not high-res enough for the screen at the Fashion Island. I'm like, guys, we're in Hollywood. We need one good photo that is like high-res, high-def, playing back, like what is happening? You guys are not Hollywooding correctly.
Ben Mandelker (3:29)
I know you're acting very right.
Ronnie Karam (3:31)
We're podcasters, so what are you gonna do? No, we're gonna Hollywood correctly. Internet radio.
Keltie, before we get too into this, I want to talk about everything you're doing. Okay, so Keltie's new book, The F Them Theory, smaller title, or second title, Self Help for People Who Are Done Being the Bigger Person, and you're on tour. Also, you've got two bestselling books before this, which is pretty amazing.
Keltie Knight (4:02)
Actually, that's a lie. I have one bestseller and one bomb.
Ronnie Karam (4:06)
Oh, well, that's fine. It's a reinvention.
Ben Mandelker (4:09)
I know, sorry, you're right. It doesn't have to say a bomb.
Keltie Knight (4:13)
People don't like it when you're too successful, so I want you to know, I could barely get a publishing deal for this because the last Lady Gang both bombed.
Ben Mandelker (4:20)
Well, up till now, but then we're going to make it rise up from the ashes. Resurgence, thank you. Yeah, it's not over.
