Watch What Crappens

October 9, 2026

This week, The Real Housewives of Orange County head to Tokyo to eat egg salad sandwiches, drink snake sake, and see how many people Vicki can confuse with her “woo hoo”s while she wanders around demanding hot dogs with mustard on top. We’re back on tour! Hosted on Acast.

Speakers Ronnie Karam, Ben Mandelker

Watch What Crappens Well, hello, and welcome to Watch What Crappens, a podcast for all that crap we love to talk about on Yield Brows. I'm Ronnie, and that's Ben over there. How are you, Ben?

Ben Mandelker (0:32)

I am great, thank you. How are you, my sweet Rondelah?

Ronnie Karam (0:37)

I'm good. Everybody, welcome to the show today. Thanks to Jeff Lewis and all of those guys for having us on Sirius this morning to promote the Watch What Crappens In the Mix Tour, coming soon to a city near you. We are back on the road. Go get your tickets.

And then right in the new year, we'll be in San Fran, Salt Lake, Denver, Charleston, Atlanta, Seattle, Vancouver, Portland, Toronto, Boston. And we end with the golden crappies on Broadway, New York City, February 25th. Go get your tickets at watchwhatcrappens.com and we look forward to seeing you at the end of the week. Next week, Minneapolis and Detroit.

Ben Mandelker (1:37)

I'm excited. Yeah, that's gonna be great. It'll be fun times.

Ronnie Karam (1:42)

Love going to those places. It's always been so fun. How are you feeling today about The Real Housewives of Orange County?

Ben Mandelker (1:50)

Well, you know, the vacation is happening. And, you know, it's one of those things where as a viewer, I don't think the show is terribly exciting these days. I think as a recapper though, it's very fun for us because almost like the more dull the episode is, the more fun that we have. So I'm a little bit of a split mindset. What about you?

Ronnie Karam (2:14)

It's a lot of people divorcing lately just on the Bravo. It's a lot of divorce. It's like every night it talks about divorce, to which I say, good for you. Go do it. If you're thinking about it, do it.

It's like the newest trend. Everybody do it.

Ben Mandelker (2:33)

Wiveswap has not got a very good track record. I mean, I think we've got Angie and Sean are already breaking up. Shane and Emily seem like they're on the verge of breaking up. I mean, Melissa and Joe are fine.

And then it's like Eddie and Wendy. Who knows about them? I think that's all going to depend on the sentencing. But yeah, it's not great. But I have to say, watching the deterioration of Emily and Shane really couldn't care less.

I really like it. I don't know. It's like, you guys, he proposed you over GChat. So what are you expecting?

Ronnie Karam (3:12)

True.

And also, it's already been deteriorated. It's like getting mad that cheese is not milk. Like, but I knew this is cheese. So why would I get mad that it's not milk anymore? You were already deteriorated. So, yeah, I mean, I guess it's sad that you're sad. I guess I'm sad that you're sad, but FF.

Ben Mandelker (3:31)

I mean, yeah, the light went on. Your gas light went on a long time ago, and now you're shocked that your car stalled out on the side of the road, and now we have to sit and wait for the tow truck with you. I'm like, I'm calling an Uber. I'm out of here.

Ronnie Karam (3:46)

Yeah. So here we are with season 12, episode 14, Friends and Fortunes. And I know that we're all probably pretty worried about what this cast in particular is gonna do in Tokyo, because there's a very high chance it's gonna be problematic.

Ben Mandelker (4:04)

Yeah.

Ronnie Karam (4:05)

So good luck to us as an audience.

Ben Mandelker (4:09)

But the good news is that we start still in Orange County and we're still at the Vena party, where a huge, huge crime has happened, which is that Alexis Bellino gave Heather a look and Heather didn't like it. And now they're hashing it out.

Ronnie Karam (4:26)

Yes. And Alexis keeps threatening to leave, but still is just standing there on the curb with Joe.

And Heather comes out and she's like, Alexis, you are just trying to create something that's not there. It's not there. It's like Park Overall's career. It's gone. Gone.

Ben Mandelker (4:46)

You, by the way, just want to say Empty Nest premiered yesterday in 19... Like yesterday was the 38 year anniversary of Empty Nest premiering at NBC. I'm saying that because it showed up on my Twitter because the algorithm listens. Also yesterday was Sigourney Weaver's birthday and we didn't even celebrate it. So like we're really failing as a podcast, but you mentioning Park Overall, I just want you to know that we are... Yeah, like this isn't Empty Nest's... Yesterday was an Empty Nest milestone day. So just putting that out there.
