Well, hello and welcome to Watch What Crappens!
SPEAKER_2 (0:24)
A podcast for all the crap we love to talk about on Ye Olde Braves. Ronnie, Ben is still out of town. He'll be back next week. And so I've had the chance to talk to some of our real life and show friends here on the show. And it's been such a fun week. Today is the gorgeous and talented Kara Berry.
Love you from Everybody's Everyone's Business But Mine. Hello and welcome to the show.
SPEAKER_3 (0:51)
Hi, thank you so much for inviting me. Happy to be here with you as usual.
SPEAKER_2 (0:57)
Yes, it's really good to see you. It's been a while. I think the last time we talked was a crappy hour. Well, we saw each other in real life in New York City.
SPEAKER_3 (1:05)
We did. Shout out to ACAST.
SPEAKER_2 (1:07)
Yeah, it was so glamorous being together. I remember there was that lady from Dance Moms. Did you know that that was a lady from Dance Moms that was there?
SPEAKER_3 (1:17)
Yes, we had recorded before, so I knew she was coming, yeah.
SPEAKER_2 (1:21)
I didn't know until after. I wish people told me stuff. I could have been like, oh, hey, hey, lady from Dance Moms.
SPEAKER_3 (1:28)
Shout out to Christy, she's a nice lady.
SPEAKER_2 (1:31)
Yeah, and she has a show on A-Cast too, eh?
SPEAKER_3 (1:34)
Yeah.
SPEAKER_1 (1:35)
Oh, all A-Cast family.
SPEAKER_2 (1:38)

Up until November, we're going until the end of February. We end in New York City for the Golden Crappies. So go to Watch What Crappens now to get your check at links.
Thanks for sitting here through the plug.
SPEAKER_3 (2:23)
No, I'm thrilled. I'm hoping to be back at the Crappies backstage where things happen, apparently.
SPEAKER_2 (2:31)
Oh, you'll be there, and things will. It's amazing how we just throw that together and just watch everybody go, you know?
SPEAKER_3 (2:41)
It is like my dream. It's like I woke up and Pat was at a makeup stand, like, come sit next to me, darling. I'm like, wow.
SPEAKER_2 (2:51)
Come on over here. Let me show you some chicken TikTok videos.
You watch TikTok. My algorithm is all chicken videos. And I thought she was kidding or maybe it was slang for something that I didn't really get. It's literally chicken videos.
SPEAKER_3 (3:07)
No, she's for real.
SPEAKER_1 (3:08)
She sits there and watches.
SPEAKER_2 (3:12)
All right, so what are you thinking so far on this season of Next Gen NYC? What are your overarching opinions?
SPEAKER_3 (3:20)
Oh, overarching. I am Charlie's the coolest biggest hater. I do not find him to be entertaining. I don't think he's funny. I don't think that he is anything that he thinks that he is. And he's deeply like, I, he's, I give a lot of space for people who are in their villain role and need to remain on the show.
Charlie's one of the few people who that does not apply. I want him gone immediately. Rotten. I think I picture him in the Willy Wonka's factory doing the egg thing and he's like, and he's going down the chute. That's Charlie to me.
SPEAKER_2 (3:56)
Oh, wow. And what do you think they would need to do to get rid of Charlie? Just get rid of him and keep everybody? Or do you think they would need to replace him with another villain?
SPEAKER_3 (4:07)
Honestly, I don't care. He's such a bad seed for me.
Anything would be better. Anything at all.
SPEAKER_2 (4:16)
Yeah, he is really a bad dude. I do find it entertaining. I mean, look, the past two reunion shows, I mean, the only ones we've got are really all Charlie. And I don't know. I guess maybe I've watched this stuff for so long that I'm like, the villain is necessary. But you're right. It does come to a point where it's like, is it necessary? And is this person taking all of the air out of the room? And that's why no one else can rise to the villain era.
SPEAKER_3 (4:46)
Yeah. I feel like I see right through this man. And I actually think this episode kind of highlighted this theory that I've had that Charlie looks at his life and this show at least, like, the Sims, like, everybody's a player in his game. And if they don't, he's got rules for how people should behave and how they should move. And if not, he's going to fuck your girl or like do something else. It's just very odd to me.
