Watch What Crappens Well, hello and welcome to Watch What Crappens.
Ronnie Karam (0:24)
This is part two of a two-part recap.
Brian Moylan (0:28)
She's going to be doing Pirate's Booty ads just to make the ends meet.
Ronnie Karam (0:33)
Yeah.
God, I'm in Pirate's Booty. Send it over. Now there's a lot. So Jessel is asking how long they've lived here, and it's kind of in a disgusted way.
SPEAKER_5 (0:46)
Like, how long have you lived here?
Ronnie Karam (0:48)
Is it safe? She's like, well, I've been here 10 Eugene's had it for 21 years.
Yeah, you're right. She's going to be the one kicked out.
Brian Moylan (0:57)
Yeah, she is 100% the one kicked out. His name is Annalise, and she is Gonzo. Did you ever live in New York City?
Ronnie Karam (1:06)
I did. I lived there 10 years. I moved there on my 18th birthday and moved away when I was 28 So it was a long time ago, but it was okay. It was my youth.
Brian Moylan (1:15)
Did you ever go to Battery Park City?
Ronnie Karam (1:18)
Yeah, because my first place that I ever lived was in Staten Island.
SPEAKER_4 (1:23)
Because that's all I got to do.
Ronnie Karam (1:26)
I worked in the Upper East Side, so I didn't have to walk, but I was like, I'm in New York City. I would walk from the ferry all the way at the bottom of the city all the way to the Upper East Side and back every day. I was like, I'm that girl.
Brian Moylan (1:42)
You walked from the ferry terminal to the Upper East Side every day?
Ronnie Karam (1:48)
I got so skinny. That was the first time I ever lost weight. My legs were huge.
Brian Moylan (1:53)
Oh my, how long did that take you? That's like a three hour walk.
Ronnie Karam (1:59)
Well, sometimes I would take the train up from the ferry, but I would walk home every night. It took me probably like an hour and a half, two hours, I think. I don't feel like it was three hours.
It could have been.
Ben Mandelker (2:12)
I mean, what do I know? That was like a lifetime ago.
Ronnie Karam (2:14)
I know it was, I was a weird, weird person. But yeah, I saw Battery Park City a lot and nobody used to live down there. Like in the daytime, it was very busy.
And then it was a ghost town at night. And now every time I see people living down there on these shows, I'm like, who lives down there? But I'm just very outdated, you know?
Brian Moylan (2:33)
I financial district like where Psy and everyone at Summer House lives there. I've seen a lot more people living there, but Battery Park City still seems crazy. But also fun fact, Erica Jane lived in Battery Park City when she was 20
So that was the 80s. She was living in Battery Park City. I can imagine what that is like. Oh, damn.
SPEAKER_4 (2:59)
But I feel like the mean streets of Battery Park City.
Brian Moylan (3:03)
Yes. Carol was on the subway. Erica Jane was in Battery Park City pushing a stroller.
But I feel like part of Jessel's thing about like, oh, you live here was like how far and hard it is to get to Battery Park City. But she probably also took it hard because she's Jessel. So who the fuck knows?
Ronnie Karam (3:23)
Well, people anywhere from like what? The village up north, I think are very confused by the streets starting to curve all of a sudden. Because the city goes in a grid and then you go downtown and then suddenly, there's just curves and streets and you don't know where you're going anymore. I think it's honestly confusing if you don't live down there.
So bless Jessel. She's a hero and I stand by her in her hatred of popcorn ceilings.
Brian Moylan (3:51)
I need to know how much they pay in rent. I need to know, Daisy, tell us. I know you're proud of it. Just put it on Instagram because I need to know. Thank you. Love, Brian.
Ronnie Karam (4:02)
21 years, it's got to be like 1400 bucks.
Brian Moylan (4:05)
It's something like that. Exactly. It's got to be nothing.
Ronnie Karam (4:11)
And also to stay in that marriage when they clearly hate each other, you know the rent's good if you're staying.
Brian Moylan (4:15)
You know the rent is good. The dick is good, the rent is good, and we know the first one isn't true.
