#3511 RHOA S17E20 Part Two: New Teeth and Nowhere to Sleep

Well, hello and welcome to Watch What Crappens. This is part two of a two-part recap. If you're like, hey, wait a minute, we didn't hear part one, guys, it's because we put out a lot of recaps. Go back and listen to part one, okay? It's before this one. I guess I just give credit for Teeth because the smartest grifter we've ever seen on this show was one of the most vile people ever, and that's Brooks from Real Housewives of Orange County. He was just a disgusting character, a horrible human being, the cancer scammer. But there's always a part of me that's like, well, he wasn't the dumbest scammer because he walked away with Teeth.
And that's gonna help him for the rest of his life. Some people steal bags of money, some steal whatever, but this man was like, you know what I want, Teeth.

**Ronnie Karam** (1:10)
Yeah, now he can go on Love Island. Andy is like, TT from, TT from A, get it, said, Kelly and Shamia, the cleanliness of the rooms in Dallas was out of Cynthia's control.

**SPEAKER_3** (1:28)
Why make such a huge deal and go so far to not go to dinner to prove your point?

**Ronnie Karam** (1:32)
So then it's like, oh God, the rooms were filthy. And then he said, but why did you go to dinner?

**SPEAKER_4** (1:37)
We couldn't even shower.

**Ronnie Karam** (1:39)
I'm like, there were other showers in the estate. Like, can we act also like functioning human beings? We've all been in situations where like, oh no, the shower's not working. Oh, this doesn't work. Can I come use your shower instead? Like, why was that off the table?

**Ben Mandelker** (1:56)
Yeah, just being divas and trying to get a moment is why they did it. But of course they'll never say that, you know? And so, and of course they were fine to come to dinner without a shower and being dressed when they saw that they weren't the center of drama. When they saw that there were fights and all this other stuff happening that was really good shows, they ran right up to the dinner table and sat right down.
So that was another fail. You tried for a scene and it just made you look stupid. The both of you.

**Ronnie Karam** (2:23)
Yeah, and there's also some, there's also some things so, I don't know, I think there's something so sad and like, and like, not sad, but like, I would have thought it would have been cool if they just were like, I'm just wearing my airplane clothes, my jeans and those t-shirts. I mean, we weren't in a fancy restaurant. And I understand that the topic of getting dressed and looking your best and doing glam is actually a complex, it's a more complex topic than it appears on the surface. And so I'm respecting that.
There's a whole thing about that. That's something that we've learned over the years. And so I don't want to just be like, whatever, just show up, whatever. But I do think that there is actually an extreme power in showing, in saying, I like the way, I'm good enough, but I know I'm an outsider. I'm not in those shoes.

**Ben Mandelker** (3:26)
Well, it's not like she was in rags and hadn't, you know, had been out for a week and looked like crap. They still looked, they were still wearing their glam and their outfits from the daytime. It was just daytime looks. So, right, they didn't have their nighttime looks. And all of that goes to shit anyway, because, again, they went up there anyway. But because Shamia went on camera, Shamia and Kelly both made a big scene, and Andy asked them, he's like, but why was it okay to sit by the pool if you didn't want to be on TV? And she's like, could we're on a TV show, you guys?

**Ronnie Karam** (3:59)
And that's the other thing, is they were still being filmed in their clothes down by the pool. So while I'm being respectful of some of the more complicated and nuanced issues that go of glam and why it matters for certain people, but I'm just being respectful for that.

**Ben Mandelker** (4:23)
Yeah, you're talking about it literally. And I understand what you're saying.

**Ronnie Karam** (4:27)
Yeah, but what I'm saying is that in this case, I actually feel like it would have been great if they just said, you know what, it, we're going to go up there. But I think that they were just trying to have a moment down by the pool.

**Ben Mandelker** (4:42)
Yeah, and that kind of failed. And so she's going back and forth with Cynthia, and Cynthia's very Cynthia, just like, well, but I'm talking. No, I'm talking, but I'm talking now. No, but I'm talking.
