We are recording on a Sunday morning, but we're literally, when you're listening to this, pretty much at opening day, Tuesday and all that fun stuff. And so Jared did all the homework. For predictions for all 30 teams, I've done none. But let's go.

Yeah, we're doing predictions, like random predictions about the season, a little bit different than the predictions we did on each podcast. I did, like Mo said, come up with one for each of the 30 teams. We're not going to do all 30 of them, obviously, because that would take way too long. But I will run through the ones that we don't go through at the end of the podcast, just like I did for the most interesting players on each team at the end of the last podcast. But I'm going to start here because I went in the same standings order that I did last time. I am going to say the Boston Celtics are the number one seed in the Eastern Conference at the end of the regular season.

So what's the reasoning? Like what's your, you're all in on Paul George, I'm assuming. You're all in on Mitchell Robinson.

Jared Dubin (3:13)

I'm all in on Joe Mazzullo really. Joe Mazzullo just prints regular season wins. Like I feel like even without Paul George or with Paul George playing a limited number of games or with Paul George not necessarily playing up to the level that he's played in previous seasons, I feel like they're just going to win a whole bunch of games.

Mo Dakhil (3:31)

Yeah, I'm not buying that one.

I know they're going to, one, I think they're good. I think they're good in that sense. I think they're going to be a really good team with that. I think the East is too stacked for me to just say like, okay, they're going to be the number one seed.

Jared Dubin (3:52)

Someone's got to be the number one seed.

Mo Dakhil (3:54)

Yeah, no, I would take the field over them in that sense.

Jared Dubin (3:58)

I would take the field too, but I'm saying they're the most likely.

Mo Dakhil (4:01)

Yeah, I don't know if they are because I still look at the fact that you're only going to get, if everything goes great, 50 games out of Paul George, we don't know Mitchell Robinson's ability to stay healthy as a starter and playing starter minutes, right? Like that's going to be something there. That's a big stuff. They're deep. I like the guys that bring off the bench. I mean, if you allow Hugo Gonzalez to take 27 steps before a dunk, like, yeah, they're going to be unstoppable. But I think there's still stuff that I'd want to see.
