Welcome back to the Daily Crypto Roundup.

A blockchain has just chosen a future in which it stops being its own blockchain. ZetaChain voters overwhelmingly backed moving native Zeta to Solana and eventually winding down the network's layer one. That is not a cosmetic bridge. It is a vote about whether a token needs its original chain at all. We also have private company exposure arriving in Binance Wallet, Bitcoin payments for Toyota vehicles, and new evidence about who won and who lost when the Clarity Act collapsed. At the time of recording, Bitcoin is around $80,790, down approximately 1.1% over 24 hours after trading between about $80,150 and $81,860.

Ethereum is near $2,598 and down roughly 1.7%.

XRP is close to $1.38 after losing approximately 4.2%, the weakest move among these major assets. BNB is around $755. Solana is near $108.15 and Hyperliquid is close to $91.30.

Cardano is around $0.22 and Chainlink is near $12.20.

Avalanche is the clear exception. ZetaChain is near $10.93 and up approximately 15.8%, although no verified single announcement explains that entire move. The lead story is ZetaChain Proposal 68 At the close of its voting window today, the proposal had 99.4% support and 58% participation, comfortably above the required 40% quorum. It authorizes contributors to prepare a migration that would turn Zeta into a native Solana program library token, and eventually shut down ZetaChain's own Cosmos-based Layer 1 Holders would receive Zeta on Solana at a one-to-one ratio. The ticker and total supply would remain the same. Native Zeta currently uses 18 decimal places, while the proposed Solana token would use 9, so balances below the supported precision would be rounded down. Existing vesting schedules would continue.

Zeta already issued on Ethereum and BNB chain is outside this first proposal. The most important distinction is that nothing moves today. Validators keep validating. Staking rewards continue and balances remain where they are. Exchanges must first confirm their swap procedures. A second governance proposal must then set the snapshot block, withdrawal window, claim process, exchange conversion period and exact chain halt time. ZetaChain says it rejected a permanent wrapped token bridge because that would require keeping the old chain alive. Instead, it plans to publish the snapshot export and checksum, preserve an archive node and explorer, and audit programs holding user Zeta before migration. The strategic reason is Anuma, ZetaChain's private artificial intelligence application. The project says more than 300,000 people have joined since February and submitted more than 1 million requests across 35 models. Its proposal states, Running our own L1 no longer helps us build private AI. Moving to Solana would replace a separate validator economy and recurring Cosmos software maintenance with access to Solana's liquidity, applications, and faster settlement. Solana and Zeta users could gain deeper markets and fewer infrastructure costs. Existing validators lose their long-term role if the shutdown completes. Holders face exchange support, claim, custody, and application migration risk. Would you keep Zeta through a change shutdown and claim process or exit before the snapshot details are known? The positive case fails if exchanges do not support the swap, applications do not retain users, or Proposal 2 exposes a difficult transition. Watch the named exchange commitments, audited migration contracts, snapshot height, claim deadline, and final halt vote. The second development is today's broad market retreat. The CoinDesk 20 is down a little more than 2%, while Bitcoin has given back part of Saturday's move above $81,000.

This is a Sunday market, so United States exchange traded funds are closed. There is no new daily fund flow figure to explain the move, and no fresh central bank decision has occurred. That makes the cautious interpretation more useful than a confident cause. Some traders may be taking profit after Friday's rebound, but public data do not prove one seller or one headline started the decline. Friday's $433 million Bitcoin fund inflow still matters. Today's dip has not erased it. Monday will show whether traditional market investors confirm the recovery or reverse it.

Ilya Kalchev of Nexo Dispatch said Bitcoin's next move is linked to a catalyst that it does not have yet, making range-bound trading more likely than an immediate breakout. Today supports that view, but does not prove it. The bearish reading strengthens below approximately $80,150 and then $80,000.

The bullish case needs a recovery through $81,860 and a fresh test of $83,000 with positive fund demand. Binance Wallet supplied the third story by opening access to pancake swap pre-access campaigns. Eligible users can subscribe to tokens designed to provide indirect economic exposure to private companies for a possible public listing. The word indirect does most of the work. These tokens are not company shares. Holders receive no voting rights, dividends, information rights, governance rights or place on a shareholder register. The structure could be contractual, synthetic or built through a third party vehicle. Even if the company completes an initial public offering, conversion into listed shares or another token is not guaranteed.
