DNVR Broncos live on a Tuesday.
RK and Henry here in the studio. We've got our guys, Zac Stevens joining us live from Broncos Park powered by common spirit. You remember it.

**SPEAKER_1** (0:46)
Right.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (0:46)
You don't even have the sign. On the Xfinity mobile call in line. Let's bring them in. Our guy, Zachary David Stevens.
There he is.

**Zac Stevens** (0:56)
Let's go.
Let's go, fellas. Day two in Pads is in the books. And man, another big day. I mean, we have another injury scare, which we'll get to. We have our first little scuffle of camp going on. The defense rises up once again. And we got to see Jaylen Waddle versus Pat Surtain twice. It was a treat today that I'm excited to talk to you guys about.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (1:23)
Awesome, man. Well, you look awesome. Like whatever RG did with this shot, it looks like you're in like quadruple high death.

**Zac Stevens** (1:34)
He's laughing. He just absolutely loves the phrase. If you can keep it rolling. Actually, Ryan, I wanted to tell you this on the show. You gave credit to and you gave a shout out yesterday to Broncos PR ace, Tyler Gorse for his speed abilities. He reached out to me and said, make sure to tell Ryan thank you. So Ryan, thank you for that. He heard you and he appreciated it.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (1:56)
I got you, Tyler. Top 10 fastest person on the field.

**Henry Chisholm** (1:59)
Might as well add now, we think he needs signs.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (2:03)
He should, yes. If he is listening, I feel like he could just have a sign that says like camera's up, camera's down, so he doesn't have to yell at anyone. He just shows it.

**Zac Stevens** (2:12)
No, Ryan, you know how Broncos PR does it. They like to do it the hard, old school way and they were invented before signs were around, so they've got to do it the hard way of just running back and forth.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (2:24)
All right. So you mentioned an injury. You also were smiling when you mentioned it, so I'm hoping we have good news on that front.

**Zac Stevens** (2:33)
Yeah. According to Sean Payton, it's not bad. So Nik Bonitto went down during nine on seven, so Broncos run heavy period. Nik Bonitto went down and was on the ground for a while being looked at by trainers. Then he limped off the field with two trainers next to him. The limp got significantly better, I would say, as he walked into the building. But the good news came after practice when I asked Sean an injury update. We know Sean doesn't like giving injury updates, but he said he expects it to be fine and then said no further update from there. So we expect him to be fine. So I think that's good news right now for what it could have been. I mean, a lower body injury for Nik right there.
So it seems like it's going to be okay. And the last time Sean Payton told us that a guy was fine after walking off the field and practice was yesterday. That was Luke Wattenberg and Wattenberg was out there today. He did not practice, but he does seem to be fine in the grand scheme of things. So I'm going to take Sean for his word and believe that Bonito is going to be fine. Now, does that mean practicing tomorrow? I don't really care. It means he's going to be good, full go for week one. That's kind of how I'm going to read into this. And so an injury scare, which could have been really, really bad. It turns out to hopefully be just that scare, guys.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (3:49)
I actually think this is a good thing.
And the reason why is I have seen enough camps to know that a certain amount of injuries are just going to happen. Every time you get an injury that isn't a serious one is like you moved one out of the way.

**Henry Chisholm** (4:06)
Right. Yeah. Maybe there's something there.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (4:08)
I'm telling you, it matters. If you can get like a bunch of three day injuries in training camp, you're going to have a great season.
