You always make it small, but it's really an important skill that everyone doesn't have and you do it better than most. So I literally would be on set just watching you read the copy, and I was like, how is he doing it?

We've talked about this before though, I want to say it definitively why I did that because the first one, there wasn't a lot, nobody really knew about the show in the beginning, right?

And didn't you have problems getting guests sometimes or was like nobody knew what it was?

It was in the very, very, very first season. So Walking Dead was six episodes initially and it totally blew up. Right. And it started to become a thing very quickly, which doesn't always happen in television, but well, I guess maybe now with, you know, like binge watching and streaming. But at the time it blew up pretty quickly. So then they did six episodes AMC and then they picked up a full season and then we came in season two and yes, explaining the show to people because there wasn't, there were no talk back shows. There was, there was Watch What Happened. So Andy Cohen had his show, but that was about Real Housewives. Right. And so the same company developed Talking Dead and the experiment was, would people want to watch this for a scripted show? And so at the time, people just kind of gave it a lot of shit. They were like, well, this is dumb. Why would you have to? It's like, well, they do it for sporting events. They do it for reality.
Why not for a drama, dense program where a lot of shit's going on?
