We have the starting line up for the new Chork Yankees tonight, okay? Are you ready? Yep. Do you want me to give it to you? You want to guess? How do you want to play the game?

Chris McMonigle (0:08)

Well, I can guess it.

Craig Carton (0:09)

You want to guess it?

Chris McMonigle (0:09)

Yeah.

Craig Carton (0:10)

All right, who do you think is leading off for the Yankees tonight?

Chris McMonigle (0:14)

Paul Goldschmidt batting, hitting first.

Craig Carton (0:17)

Paul Goldschmidt leading off playing first base? Yes. One for one, sir.

Chris McMonigle (0:21)

One for one.

Craig Carton (0:22)

Okay, who is batting second for the New York Yankees tonight?

Chris McMonigle (0:25)

This is the interesting one.

Craig Carton (0:25)

Game one of the wild card. Deep fly ball to center. She's got legs.

SPEAKER_3 (0:30)

Gone!

Chris McMonigle (0:31)

Home run hitter? All right, because that's the only, you gave me a little bit of hint there because I'm torn on two different guys.

Craig Carton (0:35)

I'm just reenacting my play by play when the Yankees played the Rangers.

Chris McMonigle (0:39)

Now that you gave me the, I was torn between Bellinger or Rice, but I'll go Rice because you gave me a little hint.

Craig Carton (0:43)

Ben Rice, position?

Chris McMonigle (0:44)

Ben Rice, D.H.ing, obviously.

Craig Carton (0:45)

Ben Rice, D.H.ing batting second is Carrutzer.

Chris McMonigle (0:48)

Okay, I was torn between that and Bellinger.

Craig Carton (0:50)

D.H.ing batting middle is right, ground ball is short. Who's batting third for the Yankees tonight?

Chris McMonigle (0:55)

My guess is Ramos playing right field.

Craig Carton (0:58)

Elio Ramos batting third playing right field.

Emmanuel Barberina says, yes sir, three for three. Okay, I'm right. By the way, Emmanuel got me a lovely bottle of whiskey a couple of weeks back.

Chris McMonigle (1:12)

Really?

Craig Carton (1:13)

Because that's what friends do for each other, for no reason at all. For no reason at all. He's like, I heard you're a whiskey drinker. Here's a bottle of whiskey.

Chris McMonigle (1:19)

He heard wrong.

Craig Carton (1:20)

That's right.

Chris McMonigle (1:20)

All right.

Craig Carton (1:21)

Well, could have got me a Grand Marnier. Yeah, exactly. Who's batting clean up tonight?

Chris McMonigle (1:26)

I was torn between these two, so now I'm going to go, I guess, Bellinger playing left field.

Craig Carton (1:30)

Cody Bellinger batting clean up playing left field. You are correct. So thus far, we have Paul Goldschmidt leading off playing first. We have Benjamin Rice batting second, de-aging, Elio Ramos batting third playing right field, and Cody Bellinger, your clean up hitter in left field. Who's batting fifth?

Chris McMonigle (1:50)

Batting fifth, my guess is Rosario playing third base.

Craig Carton (1:56)

Your first incorrect answer, my friend. Incorrect. Hamed Rosario, not batting fifth. Sorry about that.

Chris McMonigle (2:03)

Jeez, it's got to be a right-handed hitter. Did he put Lombard that high?

Craig Carton (2:09)

You tell me. Is that your final answer?

Jorge Lombard Jr. is correct, batting fifth, which I think is the highest he's batted this year, and obviously playing shortstop. Rosario's batting sixth, I'll give you that.

SPEAKER_3 (2:23)

Playing third base.

Craig Carton (2:26)

Who's batting seventh for the New York Yankees?

Chris McMonigle (2:29)

Batting seventh for the New York Yankees. I'm really torn on this.

Craig Carton (2:34)

Between two lovers?

Chris McMonigle (2:35)

Yes. Feeling like a fool? I've been on the jazz boat. I guess I've got to go with what I would do.

Craig Carton (2:42)

Sticking with Jazz Chisholm.

Chris McMonigle (2:44)

I would play jazz at second base.

Craig Carton (2:45)

Jazz Chisholm playing second base, batting seventh? Yes. Incorrect, sir.

Chris McMonigle (2:52)

Volpe batting seventh?

Craig Carton (2:53)

Anthony Volpe in the starting line up tonight.

Chris McMonigle (2:55)

Let's go, kid.

Craig Carton (2:56)

Anthony Volpe batting seventh, playing second base for the New York Yankees at wild card game one at the stadium.

Chris McMonigle (3:03)

Yeah, I forgot Jones. I was going to put Jones.

Craig Carton (3:05)

Spencer Jones is batting eighth. Jones batting eighth. Setterfield and Austin Wells batting ninth and catching. So no Jazz Chisholm. How about that?

You like that or no?

Chris McMonigle (3:16)

The Yankee starting line up is brought to you by Samwell Institute for Pain Management. Turn to Samwell Pain for minimal invasive same-day procedures at one of their three New Jersey locations. So that's the end of your line up time. I'm okay with it. I would have went Jazz. It's not one of these things that I'm-

Craig Carton (3:28)

Jazz is probably pissed.
