Talking to the guys off the air about how bad the Post-Game Show was, I know you didn't get to see it, or maybe you did, you probably didn't, they'd go get them at the time. And it was like, oh, Pedro Martinez is so funny. He's not.

And I get the dull Yankees lose, I get it, I'm down with it. It was funny when Ortiz first did it last year, you know, with Derrick there and obviously, they were out there, and it's cute, I get it, it's fun, it's like, you know, the other team playing New York, New York in the locker room, I get it, you're mocking us. We have to be big boys and be thick skinned. That comes with the territory. And I'm good with it. It's not even that, you know, it's not a reverend anymore, it's what you do. I'm fine with it.

But whoever thought that Pedro Martinez and Jimmy Rollins together was good?

Chris McMonigle (0:47)

Not good?

Craig Carton (0:47)

No, not good. The opposite of good, what's the opposite of good?

Chris McMonigle (0:51)

Not good? Not good?

Craig Carton (0:53)

It's not even bad.

Chris McMonigle (0:55)

It's really bad. Wretched.

Craig Carton (0:58)

Wretched? Oh, that's a good one.

Chris McMonigle (0:59)

How about that?

Craig Carton (1:01)

Can you spell it though?

Chris McMonigle (1:02)

No.

Craig Carton (1:03)

I can't use that again.

Dan (1:04)

I can't either.

Craig Carton (1:05)

I can't use it either.

Dan (1:06)

Anyhow.

Chris McMonigle (1:07)

Wretched.

Craig Carton (1:08)

I gave all the guys, some of my buddy Fun Cow's- Yeah, it was a mistake to say goodbye right before we were going on air. Jaw Ripper Jerky?

Chris McMonigle (1:13)

You ain't is a Jaw Ripper. It's delicious. It's got like a black pepper.

Dan (1:16)

Is it good though?

Craig Carton (1:17)

But it's a real, ah, it's like a tough jerky.

Dan (1:19)

Oh my God. Yeah, very tough.

Craig Carton (1:20)

That's a man's jerky right there, buddy.

Chris McMonigle (1:21)

I had to like swallow a chunk of it because I couldn't, I didn't have enough time to chew it and do the shows. I had to like just swallow a big chunk. Smells good though. It's delicious.

Craig Carton (1:29)

Yeah.

Chris McMonigle (1:30)

All right.

Craig Carton (1:30)

Sorry, Pete, I got one for you too. So come on in and grab that anyway.

Chris McMonigle (1:34)

It'll take me 45 minutes to eat this little piece.

Craig Carton (1:36)

That's a good ride home right there.

Chris McMonigle (1:37)

That's a good ride home.

Craig Carton (1:39)

What's that guy in the suburban doing?

Eddie (1:42)

That's good stress reliever too.

Craig Carton (1:44)

You wake up like you did like three lines of Coke off a stripper's ass in the morning and you're like, why did my jaw kill him?

Chris McMonigle (1:49)

Oh, I know.

Craig Carton (1:50)

And your wife's like, honey, what were you doing last night? Go get him or go get her? I swear to God, it was a Yankee Stadium.

You know, the strip club in the Bronx, near Yankee Stadium, not right there, but somewhere close to Yankee Stadium. Where? Sells more Johnny Walker Red than any bar in America.

Chris McMonigle (2:05)

Is that true?

Craig Carton (2:06)

Uh-huh. Yep. It's the number one provider of Johnny Walker Red, specifically in the country. A Bronx strip house.

Dan (2:15)

Yeah.

Chris McMonigle (2:16)

I don't know why, that's what they say.

Craig Carton (2:18)

Here's Dan in Middlefield, Connecticut. I'm the fan as we deal with the day after another Yankee demise. What do you got today for us, Danny?

Dan (2:27)

Hey guys, how are you? Good. Hey, so people can say that they want to get rid of Boone, and that's all well and great. But Brian Cashman has been General Manager of the Yankees for 23 percent of the team's entire existence. Wow.

At a certain point, you need fresh ideas. The Boston Red Sox, and I hate to do this, but between 4 and 18, they had multiple GMs and they won multiple championships. Hal Steinbrenner, feedback to your point about how he's just confident and comfortable with how Cashman does things. Hal is a coward for not wanting to try and branch out and try something different.

Eddie (3:02)

They need new ideas.

Craig Carton (3:04)

He's not a coward for building a team that has a winning record every year and goes to the postseason every year.

Dan (3:10)

You know how it's going to end though. I know, but it does count for something.

Chris McMonigle (3:13)

We're going to say that. I get it. I know.
