Craig Carton (0:09)

By the way, after us tonight, you get five hours of Anthony Gallo. Seven to twelve.

Chris McMonigle (0:15)

How about that?

Craig Carton (0:16)

Just what the audience has been clamoring for.

Chris McMonigle (0:18)

That's right.

Craig Carton (0:18)

And then Petey, are you doing midnight to five?

Chris McMonigle (0:21)

No, I had to... You took a day off?

SPEAKER_3 (0:23)

I had to back out of that one.

Craig Carton (0:24)

Good, good for you. Enjoy your family.

Chris McMonigle (0:26)

He's going to the kids ball game, right? Oh, it makes me so happy. The flag football game. He begged me to go. So happy. Good, enjoy it.

Craig Carton (0:33)

I had a long chat with Pete a couple weeks ago. Do not miss out on your kids growing up. You obviously miss some of your kids games.

Chris McMonigle (0:40)

I have as well.

Craig Carton (0:41)

But when you get there and your kid sees you on the sideline, and his eyes become like saucers because daddy is there, you will never get those moments back. It's what I miss, having my kids grown up. Right. Of course. I miss those moments where I coach them or just watch them as a fan, as a dad. When they turn around, because they're always searching for you.

Chris McMonigle (1:03)

Is my dad going to make it?

Craig Carton (1:05)

Is my daddy? And then you show up, and you probably got your Dunkin Donuts coffee with you like all the other dads because it's an early morning game.

Chris McMonigle (1:13)

Oh, hey Billy. Good to see you, man.

Craig Carton (1:15)

Hey, hope your son got soup last night. We're counting on him today. That kind of stuff.

Chris McMonigle (1:20)

It's awesome. How's your mulch? I heard you on the shirt.

Craig Carton (1:23)

By the way, I need some help. You got that shovel like a bar?

Chris McMonigle (1:28)

Fertilizer?

Craig Carton (1:29)

Yeah, I drove by your house. I see you haven't spread that out yet.

Chris McMonigle (1:32)

Need some help?

Craig Carton (1:34)

Neighborhood smells. You know, it's cow manure and that, right? Did you know that I learned a valuable lesson today that cows don't exist in the wild?

Did you know that?

Chris McMonigle (1:45)

I think I did.

Craig Carton (1:46)

Yeah, cows are engineered. Always? Cows are engineered.

Chris McMonigle (1:51)

It was never just natural cows, ever.

Craig Carton (1:53)

It's a non-existent animal.

Chris McMonigle (1:54)

No, I don't know about that. That I don't know.

I think right now there's no cows in the wild.

Craig Carton (1:59)

You asked Neil deGrasse Tyson about cows.

Chris McMonigle (2:02)

It's like broccoli?

Craig Carton (2:03)

Yeah.

Chris McMonigle (2:03)

Like made up?

Craig Carton (2:04)

It does not exist in the wild.

Chris McMonigle (2:06)

Wow.

Craig Carton (2:06)

Yes.

Chris McMonigle (2:07)

So we never had milk, unless it was goat's milk.

Craig Carton (2:10)

Yeah, other animals, sure.

Chris McMonigle (2:11)

Never had cow milk that we know today.

Craig Carton (2:13)

I didn't get into all the specifics on it.

Chris McMonigle (2:15)

Well, I mean... And also the cows were around for hundreds of years. Can you make a claim that there are no such thing as a wild cow? According to Neil deGrasse Tyson... You don't have any answers?

Craig Carton (2:25)

Bronx is owned, Neil deGrasse Tyson... Yeah. Said cows are like an engineered animal. They do not exist in the wild.

How about that?

Chris McMonigle (2:37)

I don't know how I feel about that.

Craig Carton (2:38)

And his point was, when people say that you're just a small little speck in the solar system and some of the relevant, you have the solar system in you, because cows eat grass, right? That's all they eat. Grass grows due to photosynthesis, means it's powered by the...

Chris McMonigle (2:53)

Sun.

Craig Carton (2:54)

Which is a star, right?

Chris McMonigle (2:55)

Right.

Craig Carton (2:56)

So when you eat a cow or steak...

SPEAKER_4 (2:58)

You're eating the power of the sun.

Craig Carton (2:59)

You're basically eating the power of our solar system, aka the sun. Too deep for me.

Chris McMonigle (3:05)

Yeah, I mean, we're all made of the same stuff.

Craig Carton (3:06)

I just like a ribeye is all I'm looking for.

Chris McMonigle (3:08)

Yeah, we're all made of the same stuff.

Craig Carton (3:09)

Yeah, but cows don't exist.

Chris McMonigle (3:11)

How's the best way to defrost a steak?

Craig Carton (3:13)

Put it in the sink.

Chris McMonigle (3:15)

Just take it straight out of the freezer, put it in the sink. Do you take two or three days and put it in the refrigerator and let it slowly defrost?
