Now, here's Chris McMonigle.

Welcome to the Go Get'em, as we will discuss what an absolute embarrassment the New York Yankees are. That was as despicable and disgusting and disgraceful a performance as you could possibly have in that spot. And I tweeted it out. All of the haters, all of you who are on here to drink the tears, all of you who are on here who have said so from the beginning about this team or what we can expect. All of the haters and all of the doubters turned out to be 100 percent accurate. This performance tonight is an embarrassment. And I know the series isn't over and they better show some frigging life and somehow get this back to game five, which I no longer feel that confident about. In this building, they can't win. But I mean, that was just from the first play of the game, from the first play of the game, you knew how this was going. Ryan McMahon is in there for defense. He's in there specifically, not because he's an awful offensive player. He is in there because you're gonna prioritize getting outs over the slight upgrade that Caballero or anybody else could be offensively. You want to make sure that you put yourself in a position that you do not give outs to the Tampa Bay Rays. That is why he is in the game. And the first play, and I don't want to hear backspin, I don't want to hear anything. That is a hop right to his chest. It's an embarrassing play. And it set the tone for the rest of the game. And nobody was good outside of Ben Rice. I got to be honest. It's a miracle he got out of the first inning with one run. So I'll give Cam credit for the first inning and getting out of the first inning with only giving up a run. But let's be honest, even Cam wasn't good enough tonight. Even Cam was not good enough. Now I know his team let him down at every freaking turn. I mean at every turn. And we'll go through all the plays and we'll go through all the innings. And at every turn they let him down. But there's just not enough swing and miss. There's just not enough. He has two strikeouts on the game.

Two strikeouts on the game.

It's just not good enough from even Cam. Nobody. And it's just everything about the game. From even the couple of things that they're unlucky in. And they were a couple of times. It doesn't matter. They didn't earn the luck. They didn't deserve the luck. They deserved everything they got. They're going to deserve everything they get said about them. They deserve to have the whole thing blown up. They deserve it. But even the balls that get stuck in the stupid catwalk find a way to not stay up there for a double and fall into the glove. And then Bellinger, for a brief moment, I thought got it from his body language. And I thought the Yankees were about to take a 5-1 lead. And the minute that ball went into the glove of DeLuca in centerfield, you knew exactly where this game was going. You knew it on the first play, but you had hopes off the bat of Bellinger that maybe this game would go in a different angle, in a different way. The minute that ball was caught, you knew exactly what was going to happen. You knew exactly what was going to happen. I turned to my wife and I said, they're going to give up six runs this inning. I was off. It was only four. But once that ball went into the glove of DeLuca and that 405-foot deep fly ball was caught, you just, you can tell, man. You can feel it. And this Yankee team, like, let's be honest, and I know I defend them, and I know I tell you that, hey, just because of what happens in the regular season doesn't happen. And I'll still tell you, like, I don't think Aaron Boone is to blame for this. Like, I'm still, like, I don't think, like, I just, I don't think, like, maybe I'm crazy. But McMahon not making that play on the first play of the game, like, I don't blame the manager. The young shortstop not making plays, Jazz with his head up, as you know what, as always, he seemed focused in game two against the Red Sox. Just an idiotic play trying to do too much. You want to blame the manager, I ain't arguing with you, but it's, I mean, like, they practiced. We know it. They had infield. They were catching the fly balls off the dome. They were doing everything prior to this game. They talked about everything. They worked on their bunt defense. They did everything you could possibly do. This is about a team. And if you want to put it on the manager, on this part, I will you, I'll give you this. Like, you can't help but think this is a team that the minute something goes wrong or the minute pressure gets upped, outside of doing it to the Red Sox, I suppose, they fold like a freaking cheap suit, man. They completely crap all over themselves. This was, as embarrassing a performance, this is almost more embarrassing than game five of the World Series. Quite honestly, it might not hurt as much. I don't know. It's pretty much pissing me off right now. But I don't know. Like, this was a prolonged thing. It happened every inning. Like, it's one thing to just have two misplays that cost you three runs or something and you're kicking yourself. This was just every single time they needed to make a play. Every single time the ball was put in play. It was a freaking joke and little subtle ones. I guess we'll go through it. I don't know. They're just coming at me. You saw, like, Garcia's at bats. Terrible. Ryan and I were talking about that. Like, Garcia's at bats were terrible in this game. Spencer Jones, you need to catch that ball, brother. Like, that line drive to start the fifth inning off of Ronda, that's gotta be caught. That's gotta be caught. Plain and simple. You got a bad break on it. That's a ball that needs to be caught.
