It's gonna be before four o'clock.
Chris McMonigle (0:01)
Before four o'clock?
Craig Carton (0:02)
Yes, it'll be between now and four o'clock. That's where we're gonna give those tickets away. And we'll have tickets hopefully as the Yankees advance throughout the playoffs. We'll be able to give you a chance to come out to the stadium and see Yankee baseball. And what a great night it was last night. And hopefully tonight, take care of business against Sonny Gray, who's afraid of Yankee Stadium, as you know.
And blew off Chad's pulmonary wounds.
I didn't know that story either. Yeah, when he was a Yankee, Chad said to look from one Sonny to another Sonny. Yeah. That's funny, yeah. And he goes, not interested.
Chris McMonigle (0:36)
Wow.
Craig Carton (0:37)
He actually blew off the great Chad's pulmonary. Wow. That is a true story that Chad told me.
Chris McMonigle (0:41)
Now that's he's in for it. Now you can't.
Craig Carton (0:43)
Now you blow off Chad's pulmonary.
Chris McMonigle (0:45)
That's what we got to tell him tonight. Now you can't leave.
Craig Carton (0:47)
That's exactly right.
Chris McMonigle (0:48)
That's right.
Craig Carton (0:49)
That's also a true story that happened. Except the only difference was, Sonny didn't lock the door.
Sonny gave a head nod to one of his henchmen and one of his buddies locked the door. But that exact scenario happened. Yeah. Chad's real name is?
Chris McMonigle (1:10)
Collosio.
Craig Carton (1:11)
Collosio. That's right. Wow. Yeah, that's exactly right. That's right. That's right. That's right. Let's get some calls here. As the Yankee State came on, a quick football note if I can before I get all the Yankee calls.
Interesting note, just keep on the back burner, because I now are focused on Yankee baseball. Andrew Thomas did not practice today for the New York Giants, neither did Tyrone Tracy. Looks like he failed a favor anyway. Yeah. Najee Harris got more carrots last week. But just keep an eye on your left tackle. Did not practice today. No word yet if it's going to be available for Sunday against the Cardinals.
That's a bad spot.
Chris McMonigle (1:46)
It's just going to be all year long.
When you tell me that, I'm not overly concerned that he won't play this Sunday. I mean, I suppose I am, but that's not what I think. I think this is going to be every week, all season long. He missed this practice. Oh, he's back for that practice. I think he's a go, but he's questionable coming into Sunday. Like the dude has not been able to just stay healthy.
Craig Carton (2:07)
Right.
Chris McMonigle (2:08)
No matter what he does.
Craig Carton (2:09)
Right.
Chris McMonigle (2:09)
Well, I think I'm not going to say, and he was a groin injury, I think, right?
Craig Carton (2:14)
He's a groin injury now.
Chris McMonigle (2:15)
So I'm not, he played last week, he played a little bit better than he did the week before against the Rams where he really had a rough day. I'm not, I think he's still going to play. If he misses tomorrow, maybe I'll get more concerned, but I'm just concerned at the overall health and it's going to be, he's going to be hampered by this injury all year long.
Craig Carton (2:32)
Now, are you bothered by the Yankees tweet of 41 minutes ago?
Chris McMonigle (2:37)
I don't think I'm bothered by anything the Yankees did today, but I haven't seen it.
Craig Carton (2:42)
41 minutes ago, Was it me? The New York Yankees put out a tweet that said, all gas, no brakes. No, they did not. Yes, they did. That is a phrase that was coined by Robert Saleh.
He owns it, by the way, has a trademark on it. At the New York Yankees, 41 minutes ago, put out a tweet that says, all gas, no brakes. It shows you that we're not paying attention about five years ago, when Robert Saleh became the head coach of the New York Jets, he said, all gas, no brakes.
SPEAKER_3 (3:15)
He didn't just say it, he practically tattooed it on the forehead of every player on the team.
Craig Carton (3:19)
And then Matt LaFleur stole it from him and did it in Green Bay with the Packers.
SPEAKER_3 (3:22)
Is that a fact?
Craig Carton (3:23)
That is a fact, all gas, no brakes. And guess what?
That didn't work out for them either. So I would say, memo to the Yankees social media team, because I appreciate you feeling pretty good about yourself right now. You should probably double check sayings from failed New York sports franchises.
